I've struggled with acne for years and all this noise out there made me insecure when I was younger simply because you could never know someone's reasons for promoting one thing or the other. Additionally, not having that much disposable income as a student meant that I couldn't be careless with money. I simply couldn't afford to sink money into things that didn't work. I have things in my routine you recommended years ago and still cherish them every day and see the improvement they made! Such a lovely looking routine! I've noticed that as I've gotten older, I tolerate acid exfoliation less so that manual exfoliation pen sounds really interesting and looks gratifying!

I just recently got the Medicube Booster Pro and am looking forward to your longer video on it! I ordered it from Amazon for shipping assurance (Medicube website ships DHL and states they will not refund/replace for missing or stolen package) and to add the 2-year Asurion protection plan.
Reaching out to the audience here. What have been your experiences with the medicube device? I read conflicting reviews. Main concern is that these devices suddenly stop working or overheat, AND vendors do not respond /do not refund. Happened to me with the mini NuFace device which just suddenly died on me after a few months!

I have gotten AquaGold in clinic a few times before big events (it runs $250-500) - it definitely gave me baby smooth skin (i noticed it most on the pores right under my eyebags) but it lasted a week max… they claim it lasts like 8 weeks but I did not notice that. I tried Qure and it’s actually a rlly good dupe because it’s not as expensive but still lasts a good week before big events. I stopped using it though because I have been into spicule skincare (VT reedle specifically) which gives me baby smooth skin for 1-2 days. still testing it long term and whether it could actually help with pitted scars.

As a dark skin Esthetician I prefer mechanical exfoliation over chemical. I never get why the online influencer skincare community always knocked mechanical exfoliation. I don't get hyperpigmentation with mechanical. It's safe to me
Thank you for sharing this. Yes, we've come a long way since apricot scrubs that feel like shards of glass which my first unfortunate experience. I actually love that now mechanical exfoliation doesn't clash with other products or possibly cause inflammation!

omg I have to do physical exfoliation or else my skin will become irritated. The combination of two for me are key.
It might be because of us unfortunates who it isn't safe for. Permanent ruptured capillaries on your face as a teenager isn't exactly fun
