Learn how to use your body doing spins, as opposed to the hand. They look way better. Slide up on your board, look with your head as you disengage your fins in one fluid motion.

When you do a no-hand spin. What part of the body causes the board to spin the most. Arm Jerk, Head motion, mid-body movement, or legs coming up out of the water?

I remember meeting the guy your talking about. I met him at the Wedge in the late 80s😅 Jay still looks fantastic. He's like 75! Hahaha
