I may have not seen or heard right. Maybe I'm to tired to be paying attention. 'all I now is that, I am an advid watcher and trying to do as you. 'the other day I made a order by phone to Michaels, asked if they carried the art glitter glue. ?NOPE they never heard of it. same with the ATG tape machine. we are up in the mountains of NY, but , we all can't be HILLBILLIES!!!!!! maybe I could order from your stores by phone and online connections. sometimes it's called elastic - bend over elastic, ruffle elastic glitter elastic - these are the styles they carry at Joann and is it found near the elastic used for sewing. I actually have seen some over at Hobby Lobby too. I think I may have gotten mine on clearance earlier this year. Mine has arrows on them. However, since it was so early in the year, I ended up buying more from Wish.com. I absolutely "love" wish.com! I get charms I use in my jewelry making, findings too... plus I bought several styles and prints of this elastic ruffle or bend over elastic. Earlier this year, coupons or discount codes didn't work on their online site as they originally started as an app to shop through. I'm not sure if that is still true, but their download link is www.wish.com/dl and here is a coupon that is usually worth 5%-15%, hmfhbrb

Got the buttons at hobby lobby and the white paper is actually poster board cut 2 x 6 1/2

I'm not afraid of using my sewing machine...what scares me is trying to thread my machine...it's old with no instructions lol!
Why not just overlap raw ends and stitch the square. Seems to be a lot of bulk with 3 layers.
I just prefer to sew mine that way for extra security but you could do it any way that’s best for you. It was not bulky at all

The art glitter glue is only sold on line as far as I know. I get mine on amazon. The elastic Ribbon might be called fold over elastic.
