    The car is epic, undoubtedly.
For me, it comes across on video so well because you're so down to earth and honest about it - not clickbait sh*t just straight up and honest. So relaxing, relatable and refreshing to see a video like yours, Joe.
For 30 minutes, I get to sit back and forget about everything else that is going on!
I hope you and the family had a great trip and made some amazing memories - as let's face it, that's what it is all about.

Nice video! I love the green of your car. It's amazing. I owm myself an M3 touring Skyscrapper grey since 3 months, and i love it. I switch from a 2020 M340i Touring black sapphire and i can now make some conclusion between the two. First. the M3 is incredible, especialy when you push it, you can feel the power difference without hesitation, but on some points, i "regret" my M340i. The versatility is certainly better on the M340i, because of the comfort ride who i thing was realy more confortable in the M light version. The M3 is ok on the swiss roads where i come from, but not as good as the M340i. The panoramic roof is on option i would like on the M3. Sadly, it's not possible. Ant the noise: it's definitely louder on the M3, but nicer on the M340i. And i would not speak of the fuel consumption. Finally, i can't say i regret the M340i, cause i love the M3, his look, his power, his ride qualities in sport modes. But the M340 remains a reasonably good option for less money. There's something I'm hesitant to add to my M3: it's an exhaust like your Miltek. It looks good, and it sounds better than the stock one. And last observation between my M3 and M340i: the skyscrapper grey is much more easier to maintain clean the the black sapphire.

I was actually down in the French alps with a couple of friends at the same time and we must have very nearly crossed paths seeing these roads you were on. Thanks to your videos on it, I insisted we had a good blast up the Col De La Bonette and it absolutely lived up to the expectations! The red rock road waits for us on a future trip as unfortunately the other 2 cars in the group sort of blew up on the D28, just before we reached it!

On the Carbon Bucket seats Joe, agree they’d be super for more legroom in the backseats but, have you ever had small children in the back seats, you know about age 6-7, who’s little legs are too short to bend at the knee like an adults and, invariably just stick straight out? I think they’d scuff the life out of the CF on the back of the seats 🤷‍♂️
I’ve never run the Red Rock Road, but I’ve driven the whole of the route Napoleon and all round the Gorge du Verdun and they are amazing rounds, I’m guessing the Red Rock Road is not too far away. Great video and some great insights into my next car purchase 😉

In our G21 our two 7 year old grandsons, fit my description above and ‘normally’ take their shoes off, head planted in tablets and are generally no bother, that car is the kids/dogs/workhorse and is fantastic at the job, I’d expect the same from the G81. My G22 440i on the other hand, rules are shoes off!

I found the previous F80 generation to be beautiful but the road noise (in particular tyre noise) around town on poor roads was absolutely awful. It seems the G80 saloon version is better in that regards but this touring version has the same problem due to the larger interior. You have to ask yourself, how often is the car realistically going to be full enough to reduce that noise? How many people are going to take these cars to nicely maintained French roads? They will be used for commutes to work and school runs on crappy UK roads. The handling however is godly and puts a smile on your face every time.

Very nice color. Individual paint finish is definitely worth full PPF. I did full PPF on my G80 M3 Comp in Dravit Grey (like your previous) for the peace of mind. Way easier to keep clean, and if you don't have time, no worries, its covered.
