Controlled Demo is one of the best aspects in the entire game. I love it so much, just wish it still had the resupply perk from the old middle tree/code of the commander.
It's not to often that I hop off of my Warlock anymore, but I do love Sentinel Titan. It might have lost a bit in the Void 3.0 transition, but I still really enjoy it! 😁👍

As a consideration - to increase the consistency of testing, bring a sword with a strong guard, block, and sit next to the ogre to force it to melee. That'll keep it in place for lingering grenades.
Controlled Demo on void wall is so unbelievably strong for ad clear, love using it in GM’s, especially since on void your grenades can regen your melee which you can then use to get even more grenade energy
Code of the Commander Titan my beloved. I've been playing around with Unbreakable (love that safety and tank potential) but in general ControlDemo and OffenseBulwark are my preferred aspects for the combination of durability and crowd control. Plus! If you run Controlled Demolition plus Echo of Undermining with Suppressor Grenades, you slap a target with EVERY void debuff at once, which is extremely convenient for Collective Obligation users.
Controled demolition might not edge out chaos accelerant as far as damage goes. But with the aspect equipped every volatile kill heals you and teammates. And that is from any volatile source. It's also worth mentioning that the vortex grenade does not do self damage. So when you're in a sticky situation a volatile vortex grenade at your feet kills everything around you and heals you.
I honestly feel like the general Titan player base highly undervalues this aspect (though I guess that can be said about Sentinel in general). It's very solid, providing a nice damage bonus to all of your abilities, along with a nice survivability bump.
Thank you very much! While I don't cover any Exotics in the grenade damage breakdowns, I do plan on releasing a video or series of videos highlighting the Exotics that improve upon our grenades once I finish the subclasses. 😁👍
@@IronworkerGaming Agreed. Grenadier Titan builds have suffered in the past couple years. Bungo plz fix. I miss volatile nuke Sentinel and storm lord Striker. Grenades=brute force=Totuhn brain satisfaction.
I meant to comment this on the arc grenade testing video but with the "stick grenades" in destiny outside of tripmine and the prismatic hunter transcendence grenade I like to treat them like dragon's breath, meaning depending on what I'm trying to destroy I will put the explosive in a different area on them. Like for DB on solo champions and boss DPS I typically aim for the lower torso or the codpiece so the flame is spitting on the ground directly under the boss or in front of it so as it tries to walk to me its going through it. The stick grenades are a bit harder to pull off in solo content but if you can get it on their inner leg you can guarantee majority of your grenades damage but you have to be crazy accurate to pull it off. Also for those of you who just like throwing grenades I'd recommend looking into the like 6 weapons that can roll attrition orbs and kinetic tremors together, same thing goes for attrition and jolting feedback together. The neutral game is REALLY stupid when you know what you're doing lol
Controlled demmo is an amazing aspect, as is void titan in general in pve, it’s just a bit overshadowed. Tho I am exited to try out doomfangs with the tripple super gen with the new update
@@TheGraffiti600rr oh on the contrary, I love thruster. I like it better than dodge personally. I also love the movement option offered by shiver strike
I've found it really fun playing around with fighting lion, ursa furiosa with controlled demolitionist. So much orbs and so much super energy in high level content in addition to lots of healing for your teammates from the explosions. It doesn't feel like a selfish titan build at all which I love.
I would love to see controlled demo regain its original team ability regen boost from old sentinel titan but its still such a solid aspect that I’m happy with how it is right now
Thank you very much. I think Void has it's selling points, but in the grand scheme of things, especially from the perspective of a Titan, it could use a little bit of a boost. 👍👍
Thanks for video! Like Controlled demolition for health regeneration, better on the boss compared to devour (since no mob to die for dev). Can't wait all grenades possible damage comparison! Who is the best nade master? Who break the charts? ))
Would you be willing to cover Merciless again? After all the buffs and changes revived it's most definitely worth looking at again, especially for crucible. I'd definitely love to see a video on it!🔥
I would like to take another look at Merciless one of these days. While best days in the Crucible are behind me, when I do test it out, I'll at least give it a shot. 😂👍
This is great, if you’re taking request. Can we get an Ironworker breakdown of the boosts given by whisper of fissures and Facet of ruin? I tried to get a read on the increase of damage but can’t quite tell
I believe you get full damage when you attach a stick grenade (tripmine, lightning, void spike, hailfire spike) to an opponent directly, no need to fiddle with placement!
I asked this in the last video, but can't you just stick the spikes onto enemies? I know you can with tripmine and hunter's prismatic nade, which act similarly.
You did indeed, and I believe I responded to you last comment, but unfortunately the Void Spike and the Lightning Grenade do not stick to enemies. They just bounce off and fall to the ground. 👍👍
@IronworkerGaming that's such an oddity. Also, is there any chance you'd be testing melees? Thanks for responding! I can't wait for the rest of the grenades!
Absolutely! I certainly haven't given up on our weapons! I probably focus on some of our "Grenade Exotics" immediately after I finish off the subclasses, but things will probably get back to business as usual after that. 👍👍
Personally, I'd credit the grenades that can't self detonate with the one they set up. Itll eventually go off and it wouldn't happen without the grenade.
İ wish bungie made controled demolition generate small amount of overshield after a volatile final blow or they just add grenade resupply back to the aspect
We're actually taking a look at Stasis for the next video in the series because I wanted to steer clear of Solar due to the Ignition bug. Now that that's patched up though, it will probably be the next subclass that I move to after Stasis. 👍👍
Add on the fragment making any grenade cause weaken there’s a small buff but not much still made me love scatter nades with controller plus weaken fragment
Lumious Void Shader on all pieces...Helm of Optimacy ornament, Virtuous Gauntlets ornament, and Armamentarium. I must warn you though, it photographs better than it wears! 😅👍
