Last week I jokingly suggested that you start running solo GM’s with spectral blades. If they could give Gwisin Vest the Doom Fang treatment it would actually be very possible. The up time on this roaming super was just staggering to watch. In several instances, you had it for well over a minute. Phenomenal run.
lol spectral blades won’t ever get this treatment because this is literally over a 170% damage bonus to sentinel shield, this isn’t gonna last, just take advantage of it and have fun before they fix it and both spectral and sentinel are back to being mid
nah even if they did and even if spectral accidentally got 172% more damage, it still wouldn't work because you'd fly off the map doing a single light attack due to its hit registration

3:09 I like how you immediately get hit with Void drain... I know for a fact people are gonna get annoyed dealing with the Tanky phalanx with void drain.
I feel like second chance is slept on, sure its not an infinite super but its my fav exotic bc anti barrier and this allows ne to run anither weapon instead of barrier, also ive been experimenting with thresh heavy machinegun and devour build with secind chance, i can get super back in what feels like 1 to 2 mins if i have enough ad's with heavy ammo finder, just have to have rally barricade and constant oversheild, makes contest of elders a cakewalk
It only extends when doing the shield throw (same button as grenade) and extends more for each target hit. if you're just using the light attacks it won't extend.

EDIT: Scratch the Balidorse idea. This gotta be bugged still, cause the super is doing ZERO damage. I feel like these changes only helped Titans and Warlocks were left to rot, as always. May I request a Shadebinder Balidorse run? Maybe with Ager's Scepter? I also heard pairing Mantle of Battle Harmony with the new super changes is kinda silly (and you can do it on prismatic with class items).
it's the exotic gauntlets he has on, they extend super duration on shield throw hits and shield throw refreshes when you get a bash kill (and slowly over time). definitely thrives with high enemy density, solo gm is almost an ideal environment. lower enemy density or playing with teammates and you get nowhere near that duration
@@daycejohnson there's also that but I figured he was referring to the uptime, as it is pretty nuts here. I'm also pretty sure the bugged damage is only occurring against champions/mini-bosses/bosses, which eso wasn't utilizing much (at least in the portion of the video I watched)

I don't understand why people want things nerfed when if you have a bunch of different potent things, it makes it a difficult decision on what you want to pick which is a good thing. Even if this is bugged, I bet you even if bungie does nerf it, it won't be by that much
I realize I'm in the minority, but I just refuse to do this strike, especially on GM. The relentless Thresher pounding and screen shaking triggers some legit PTSD. Makes my brain feel like my back riding the Matterhorn at Disneyland.

Let's not forget if you stun barrier either sheild throw you get your sheild back with second chance
