Absolutely great overveiw of these kinds of mods! I had no idea what they really were but thank you for goin over some of them! The Rock Elemental and Giga rework/TLC mods seem like really REALLY good ones. Ive always personally thought all of the bipedal creatures should have that crouch walk. It would add so much flavor to everything from Dilophosaurus to Gigantopithicus

I believe I have seen some of his videos, from what I've seen it definitely looks like it could have the potential to be the best Spino mod. I still prefer the look of the vanilla version though. I'm not sure what it is, maybe the fin is too flat and long, not sure XD
I really wish the vanilla Carcharodontosaurus was like this, and the Acro when it comes. They’re cool and amazing theropods in their own right, and forcing them to be bigger than the T. rex just to be better is SO old. The Giga I except as a unique genetically modified species and that’s why it’s so massive, but not everything else has to be like that. I’m very passionate about this if you couldn’t tell, lol!

I download the Better Theri mod because I love me a tickle chicken, but I can’t find a spawn command for it anywhere. Because of the update deleted all my mods off my console (which is a bug that DEFINITELY needs fixing) my high level theri is gone
Yeah that is terrible that it even is a thing and it's happened a few times, that really sucks and i'm sorry to hear that!! Will have to try remembering to check the mods after every update just to be sure nothing gets deleted. I believe the spawn code for the Aberrant Theri would be cheat gmsummon "AbTherizino_Character_BP" 150 to forcetame a level 150
I'm not really sure to be honest, it's a very tough thing to achieve as all creatures have different raising times, I honestly don't think I've ever been able to achieve that myself, best I could figure out was how to get around 3 cares on something the size of a T-Rex which would have some smaller creatures reach 100% in one care, but other smaller creatures for example couldn't even reach one care before fully maturing :(

Thanks, man. Lack of TLCs is one of the things making this game harder and harder to enjoy. Too many new overpowered creatures make most others nearly unplayable by comparison. Great video, as always, my friend.

@BEYPlaysGames True. A lot of them have. Unfortunately, some never did (like the bronto), and even many (like the carno) remained lackluster even after they received one. The Ark Additions, map exclusives, pyromane, and cosmo are just far too much beyond even the old TLCs. The power creep is real.

I already use the direwolf and Paleo one, i think i can never go back to the vanilla Rex😂 the wolf absolutely drops bps, i got so many while searching for traits for my main caving Wolf
Really sad some of these creatures wont get the re work they need, all of the new creatures are making some obsolete. In the future i dont think any1 will use a rex over an acro unless they cant go into the boss or something, same with bronto when the brachio comes out, sarco and deinosuchus rival each other because one has more speed and the other more power. Carchar has to build its strength and has healing, while the giga just has more raw power, i just hope more of the current creatures can contend with the newer ones releasing in some way otherwise im afraid they will be left in the dust.

@@BEYPlaysGames in aberration many dinos are considered foreign and not allowed wolves sabres theros rexs gigas and many others all the fliers too. i guess in server setings you can toggle CrossArkAllowForeighnDinoDownloads True. i dont have a server or play servers tho lol and apparently there is no admin command for it i even downloaded an admin command mod and found the list of all commands no setting to change for non ab dinos to download. lol i been scouring google since my baby blue male dire wolf makiavelli became permanently trapped in a peyliori cryo pod lol. so awesome for you to respond to me bro you rock!

Yeah that's what I always thought, it really frustrates me how big they made the official Giga and Carcha in the game, makes the Rex look like a baby compared :(
Not to be to nerdy here but Rex was the heaviest with the largest jaw and bite strength but Giga was longer and Spino was the biggest flesh eating terrestrial animal what ever lived

With spino having estimated weights of 7.4-8 metric tons and giga around 7.6-9. T. Rex outsize the both with a large margin being estimated around 8.5-10 metric tons.
@@BEYPlaysGames did you know Dilos should be MUCH bigger? It is silly how big Carchar and Giga are compared to Rexy, they should be slightly longer and sleeker but relatively same size as Rex. I wish the smaller Carchar mod blocked the normal Carchar spawn.
In fact, ark rex is 20 meters. It's more bigger than it as in real one. But giga has more enhancements by wildcard(44 meter). Also, ark titanoboa is as big as in real life.
As far as I know it does not, it does also state in the mod description that it adds it to Scorched Earth, You can however still add the mod to other maps and spawn in a wild or tamed one if you do want to tame legit or just want to own it XD

Paleo ark shouldn’t make all rexes and gigas paleo versions there should be both few paleo and few normal, even if you can change them back the taming process is still annoying since they need to be tamed in order to change them back to their vanilla version
It's intended as a TLC, not a variant. There will eventually be INI to allow for the regular KO tames, but both the Paleo Rex and Giga are stronger than their vanilla counterparts, so it not only doesn't make sense for them to be simple KO tames, it's generally against what the Paleo Ark team is trying to do
We're not doing that. The whole point of using our mods is because you want something better than vanilla Our TLCs are TLCs and in true TLC fashion they replace and improve upon the original. Nobody is gonna miss vanilla bronto when ours drops, same goes for the rest of the roster
Yeah it needs massive work regarding that, Can't believe that there's still so many people struggling to run the game, crashes all the time and worse, don't know of any other game with that many problems not to mention how unoptimized it is.
Better Rock Golem is a great example of an author who doesn't understand game balance and just wants everything to be overpowered. Paleo ARK seems much more reasonable, as well as the improved phoenix, the tapejara, kentro, direwolf. The Giga - not so much - as now there's no reason to use a T-Rex. The spino buff should probably be rolled into Vanilla. The Element Anky is OP AF. It goes against the theming of ARK, where you get easier and easier access to element as you progress through maps. When we get extinction anyways, we get Tek Dinos - so I wish people were just a little more patient.
Haha it is pretty OP, but I do like the harvesting changes and weight reduction. It's really fun to use though. I do agree with most of that though, I still think the Rex is always going to be worth using, still one of the best boss dinos at least. And yep the Element Anky wasn't one for me, I just added it for any of those playing heavily modded ARK where they may need more Element for things. I'd never use that mod myself as I basically play vanilla ARK without mods.
If I may ask why won’t wildcard give old creatures a tlc? Regardless if there could be mods, why won’t wildcard give us more tlc? It could actually give modders more tools to implement in dev kits.
Sadly because they don't give a crap about any of the pre-existing creatures in the game. There's no way they update any of them. As right now they are too busy remastering maps and finding ways to make more money lol
Cause they love quantity over quality, why give an old creature a tlc when you can use the abilities you could give it to a new one? Maybe make a few bucks off it by putting a price tag on it. Been a thing since ark evolved with some creatures just being upgrades to other, older, creatures.
Well I mean, the modders do the work, I guess the best bet would be to join their discord servers if they have one. Most of them have. Check the links in the description and you'll probably find the link on the mod pages.
Yeah the modders usually have links to their discord channels on the mod pages in the description of the video and a lot of them have mod ideas channels on the servers!
Hopefully the modders see this and the comment section. Please give the Bronto, Mosa and the Carno a TLC.

Shads critter Reworks gives a small tlc to both, it does also change most other dinos so might not be for you, but I'd say check it out if interested

The spino buff should probably be rolled into Vanilla. The Element Anky is OP AF. It goes against the theming of ARK, where you get easier and easier access to element as you progress through maps. When we get extinction anyways, we get Tek Dinos - so I wish people were just a little more patient.
Haha it is pretty OP, but I do like the harvesting changes and weight reduction. It's really fun to use though. I do agree with most of that though, I still think the Rex is always going to be worth using, still one of the best boss dinos at least. And yep the Element Anky wasn't one for me, I just added it for any of those playing heavily modded ARK where they may need more Element for things. I'd never use that mod myself as I basically play vanilla ARK without mods.

I think the giga needs nerfed, not its stats or attack damage, but the area of its bite, the tip of its tail should not count

If I may ask why won’t wildcard give old creatures a tlc? Regardless if there could be mods, why won’t wildcard give us more tlc? It could actually give modders more tools to implement in dev kits.
Sadly because they don't give a crap about any of the pre-existing creatures in the game. There's no way they update any of them. As right now they are too busy remastering maps and finding ways to make more money lol

Yep very sad but true, I would love to see us get some TLC for many official creatures but I don't think it will ever happen :(
Cause they love quantity over quality, why give an old creature a tlc when you can use the abilities you could give it to a new one? Maybe make a few bucks off it by putting a price tag on it. Been a thing since ark evolved with some creatures just being upgrades to other, older, creatures.

Well I mean, the modders do the work, I guess the best bet would be to join their discord servers if they have one. Most of them have. Check the links in the description and you'll probably find the link on the mod pages.
Yeah the modders usually have links to their discord channels on the mod pages in the description of the video and a lot of them have mod ideas channels on the servers!

I'm 1 minute in, and that rock golem is awful. Too fast, why the F can it jump THAT high, but the sizes choice is nice.
