- The one-year long-term ownership update and review for my 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD! I give an update on the LFP battery's degradation, any mechanical or cosmetic issues with the car, my tires (including my new winter tires!) Now that I'm fully EV, I'm really loving this car as a daily driver and for road trips. And for now, it serves as my car camping rig as well! It's the best car I've ever owned, and I love driving this thing. Failing any major mechanical issues or accidents, I plan on owning this car for many, many years.

I use to hate driving until I bought a Tesla. Now I want to travel and go everywhere with my Model Y. My only complaint is why didn’t I buy one sooner!
They're just go fun & smooth to drive. Never cared about cars before EVs, and it was like a switch flipped
@@MikeInTheWoods I’m the exactly the same! Couldn’t care less about cars but after having a Tesla (EV) it’s been a blast to drive! Never going back to ICE!
I'm at 418 kms at 60,000 kms. Began in Oct 2022 at 441 kms. 2023 RWD Model 3. Same tires.
The LFP packs are holding up well!
@@MikeInTheWoods So far so good!
Looks like you made it to Peggy's Cove. I haven't tried an extended road trip yet with the MYLR. Maybe I'll try an east coast trip next spring. Happy Cyber Week.
Yep!
If you had bought a Toyota, then maybe at 20 years you would ask "how's it holding up?", but at one year, no that's strictly for a Tesla.
there are a lot of teslas with over a million miles on them. the reason people make these videos is because there is a of false information about tesla's longevity. The reality is that teslas are insanely good vehicles and a lot of people are misinformed. When tesla was just getting started in 2008 the vehicle quality wasn't great. But now they have built millions of vehicles and the quality and experience of owning a tesla is better than any other car i've owned. They also have the best warranty of any car ive owned.
@@James-cq9dp feel like you sent me on a wild goose chase with that claim, the videos on RUclips are all b-roll and a quick google search only netted me one confirmed million mile Tesla.
they have a point . you look up million mile toyota, and you quickly get 4 different owners actually sitting in the million mile vehicle in question.
as someone who is interested in EVs(primarily Tesla) but not yet convinced its time to make the switch, I like to know the brand will go the distance. my Mitsubishi was 14 years old when i traded it in and i picked Mazda for my current car because they've stuck with their current drive train configuration for nearly a decade with no major problems or recalls.
the amount of people who make *insert EV* after 10k-20k miles aren't helping perception. a vehicle which cant make it through a leasing term would be considered a lemon to most.
ive watched a view videos on 100k mile teslas which look mostly promising aside from potential of cracked windshields
@@James-cq9dp When it comes to electric cars there is a world of difference between high mileage in a few years and high mileage over 20 years. Try selling a Tesla privately after the 8 year drivetrain warranty has run out.
@@67daltonknox why is there a difference? the 20 year old Toyota is also deep out of warranty?
@@James-cq9dp If you had owned a few Toyotas, you wouldn't need to ask. They last for years without major repairs, unlike Teslas which are disposable items like iphones that you are supposed to dump after 4 or 5 years.
