- Using her own personal experience with trauma as a starting point, this talk discusses what forgiveness is and is not, as well as steps on how to learn to forgive the unforgivable. After escaping from the hands of her kidnapper at age 19, Rhiannon suffered from PTSD for a number of years. While she used to be silent about her trauma, she now shares her traumatic experience and its aftermath so that it may be a learning tool for others. She is a local attorney and non-profit volunteer who advocates for other victims and survivors. She has a passion for mental health awareness and victims’ rights advocacy. Rhiannon is in the process of finishing her book-part memoir, part personal development-and hopes to have it published by the end of 2023. You can find her on LinkedIn as Rhiannon K. Baker. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
What you talked about is far beyond the casual thinking nearly close to wisdom! The Story of forgiving is controversial but i like that and i encourage people to forgive the UNforgivable because forgiving is not about the others it's about us and how we feel and if someone loves himself he/she wouldn't hesitate to give the best for themselves.
Thank you so much. I can totally relate though I have not chosen to forgive living with this anger is only hurting me. I'm working on it ❤
Changing frequencies is very useful.i duscharging emotion 😅
Frequency of what? 🙂 The electricity in your powerpoints from 50 to 60hz? The frequency you use your car a day?
@@Engineer9736The higher the frequency of your energy or vibration, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies.

Good talk. They should give her a glass of water though to reduce the smacking in the mic.
