I agree with you but sometimes it just takes freestyling and just plain old hard work at the end of the day while shooting and dribbling drills can help you just need to consistently practice them and you will improve
You somewhat re worded what I said so I mostly agree, but “plain old hard work” is a lazy way for just “getting reps” you can work hard af and train smart at the same time
Gotta question. I’m a really good player but I wanna be great so I’m always looking to improve. I wanna be good at hitting tough shots like fades or contested shots and I want to be better at creating space for my shots. How would I create a drill that challenge those areas or are there any drills that you would recommend that work on these qualities?
Is it beneficial to do like freestyle workouts where you work on what you would do in a game game speed but you do different moves or put youre self in different situations with different shots and doing something different everytime?
Yes of course there is a benefit to that, it’s just about maximizing your resources and always doing the most beneficial thing with you time depending on what you need to work on
@@tjltraining so would you say that's not the most beneficial to do in season and I should do a more block training style with of course the variables like you said in the video (switching it up) and the working on what I do in the game?

@@GyorgyB69 if you are switching it up it isn't block training, in season training is a bit different
