For someone is barely versed in PC/Excell use, you explained moving to an Ipad/IOS and using this program very easily. Thank you for taking your time and organizing this tutorial as you did. This prepared me well as a beginner.
Excellent tutorial. You have provided a clear top-down picture of its function, with the right level of detail. Thank you!
Very easy to understand...
As a builder, I have enquiries and surveys through to completion, needing to know materials and labour as a constant. This tutorial is helping me to formulate an overview and immediate picture of ‘the state of play’ at any one time.
Very helpful indeed 😀
Fantastic! Glad it was useful!
Fantastic! So easy to understand and comprehend. I would love to see a video on formulas, maybe just the basics, budgeting types etc 😊
Very nicely explained. I can understand the amount of time that goes in planning the tutorial and recording. Thank you
I need to compile a budget for a restoration project, this video really helped me get to grips with the awesome facilities available in numbers merci mille fois.
Amazing tutorial! So helpful, thank you very much for taking the time to make this. 🤗
Thank you for the iWork tutorials! It's really understandable and helping despite the changes that Apple apparently did throughout this year.
Up to now I have used Excel, your tutorial has helped me to get my head around Apple’s Numbers. You have an excellent teaching approach - THANK YOU!
Thank you for this video, easy and simple!
Thank you a lot for taking your time to explain. It helped me a lot to get started with numbers on my iPad.

Great tutorial!
Could you do more videos about Numbers?
Amazing work my friend!
Thank you...extremely helpful.
Outstanding content. Having being forced finally to switch from Excel to Numbers due to an unwillingness to subscribe to Office 365, this was by far the best i came across on YT. Well done!!
Excellent tutorial. Thank you 😊
Excellent video. Thank you for your helpful

Great video. Needed to see this video highlighting Numbers on a iPad. Seriously looking to convert to iPad from older generation MacBook Air. Like it! I use Numbers App extensively.

Thank you very much, there's more here than I can chew, but I coould go back if I needed. You are very kind, and an excellent teacher.
I always like to see videos of whatever it is I am trying to do. I do read the help menus, but I feel I still like to see the how to do. I have had the numbers app for a very long time and made many spreadsheets, however, I have never used it to its fullest ability. I really enjoyed this video and think it will help me a lot. Thank You.
Thank you for doing this! This is great.
Don’t ever delete these. Thank you! Helped greatly for startup business. Can we add tables to a keynote slide? (will check your keynote tutorial)
Thank you for a solid video : )
Good One. Thank You.
Very useful video. Thank you very much!
Great content and simple explanation. Thanks 🙏
Very informative. I’m using my iPad for my computer and ditching the PC. I’m new to numbers, and figured out dome things myself, but this was very informative for beginners. I just subscribed….just watching this video and playing with numbers, it is so much easier than excel. Any more tutorials would be appreciated. Rock on! 👍🤙🤙🎶🎶🎶
Thank you!
Just what I needed to improve my spreadsheet content. Subscribed
Absolutely brilliant
Thank you for this video. And I have subscribed.
Thank you for the video.
Excellent explanation of numbers
Outstanding!
Great work bro, thanks 🙏
Thanks, nice tutorial.
Fantastic and thorough basic usage. Thank you.
Can you please do a tutorial for graphs, using trend lines/ line of best fit with equations? I recognize that this is not a mainstream request, but many universities sell Apple products but the assignments all use Microsoft products. I’d like to be able to do lab work on my iPad as well. Thanks!
Thanks very nice description
Grateful I’ve found you! Still very new to iPad and even though a lot is over my head, your calmness helps. Could you maybe work through a more simple spreadsheet for a non business person-like for phone numbers and emails, birthdays, or recipes? Thanks.
Thank you 👍 made that a lot easier for me
This is the best Numbers tutorial i have seen yet! Well done
Thanks so much!
Very good. Thank you.
I just got an iPad and have never used Excel or Numbers (just Open Office) so this was incredibly helpful. About the only thing that was not covered in this beginner tutorial was how to take a cell/formula from one table and link it to another but I'm sure those kinds of questions would be covered in a formulas video.
Thank you.. This was very helpful. I was trying to get the filters options and was splitting my hair.
thank you very much
Great information! Please make more tutorials for iPad. Like how to use the checklist function in numbers and connect your list to forms and graphs. Also, for anyone using the touch screen to get everything done on iPad, how to you make it function better so you are not having to press buttons serval times. Lastly, it appears that editing websites on platforms such as Go Daddy and Wix, as well as using Teachable, is very challenging on the iPad. Actually a lot of websites and apps don’t function well on the iPad. Any solutions for that? Thank you for all time, effort and expertise!
Did not quite cover all my questions but still very useful.
Definitely liked and subscribed!
Thanks!
Excellent. New subscriber
Nicely explained …..
This is cool. Apple made this more powerful than I originally thought.
Glad it was useful!
Thanks
Easy to follow video :-)
Excelente video for rookies!
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I am switching from Office to iWork and the series has been most helpful. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
very good explanation
Thanks!
- helpful and easy to understand
Thanks!
Just came across these video tutorials and they have helped me out a ton! Do you know of any free resources like this for iWork suite on the Mac? Considering saving myself some money from paying or Microsoft suite and just using these to see how they fit my needs. Thanks for the great video!
Great video, made simple & concise! Lots of very useful tips, however what I’m really looking for is... with respect to the “Personal Budget” template, I’d like to add &/or edit the categories which are linked somehow to the graph, any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks for your video. It’s very informative.
May I ask if numbers can make pivot tables from a table? And any add-in to work with like, Smartview for HFM, etc? 🙏
Very good basic tutorial. I am trying to find a way to outline or shadow text. I found how to do it for objects but have been unable to figure out how to do it for text
Thank you very much. Found this very useful.
Thanks!
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Is there a way to fix your document, chart or graft so it doesn’t move left to right when you touch it?
Hi thanks foe explaining. Please explain , how to highlight specific filter.
Thanks for posting this great tutorial. iPad Specific: Maybe I missed it, but please can anyone tell me how to apply a formula to a whole column (on iPad).
Hi, super video although it leaves me with a question ; how do I close a sheet when I am finished with it and then I want to open a new sheet or an earlier document I have previously worked on . Thank you 😁👍
Could you review the office apps for iPad pro
Thanks for the tutorial. Is there a way to scan a barcode and/or a picture into a Numbers spreadsheet?
Good
Hello! Very good video, do you know how to export only selected cells? Sometimes i don’t have to share all the sheet, only one part. Thanks
The most beneficial tutorial I have found for this! Is there a way to change the colour of the comment indicator?

Thank you very much for making these wonderful tutorials and for putting in the time to make them so organized and very well presented. I have a question, if you don’t mind. I am using a bluetooth keyboard as well. How can I select cells or columns that are not direct neighbors of one another? Another one is; how do you merge cells, rows or, columns? Thanks again. Brilliant work.
The last time I checked, this wasn’t possible in the app.
Fantastic video, learnt so much! Explained so well! I do have a question, I may have missed these instructions but I enter several comments in the same column and keep having to go up and down to find the comment I need then copy and paste it into the cell. Is there a way to have the sheet recognise when I start typing a comment that I’ve written the comment before and automatically autofill the cell to save me copying and pasting? Thanks so much 😊
Hey! I've been loving these videos and found them really helpful. I have one question though : What iPad are you using for this video ?
At the time of making this video, I was using a 10.5” iPad Pro
I use NUMBERS app once a month for Inventory for a place I work at. My father has a nice graph sheet of each coin detailed on every line using the BLANK template (NOT CHECKLIST) Now, I want to know if theres a better way to add a picture of the coin on each line without having to take up 3-4 lines worth which makes the graph extremely stretched out & long. I wish having the photo cropped inside the ROW & upon clicking on it, a nice pop up window would come up and blowing the picture larger and then clicking it again to minimize the picture back into the row...
I really find your video very informative but as a beginner on iPad number I am struggling with spacing when typing two word on one cell
Fantastic tutorial and really helpful because I’ve switched to an iPad and know excel but not numbers. How do I copy a formula down a column? For example, column 1 has an amount, column 2 has a quantity, column 3 calculates provides the answer. Multiple rows with similar sums so column 3 can be copied down
Hi Jayne: click in the cell with the formula choosing it, then click again choose Copy it. Below in the cell were you want that formula to begin click the cell, now see in the lower right of that cell is a blue dot drag the blue dot down through the amount of cells you want that formula to fill. When you let go you will have a Paste option, choose Paste, now you will have two more options, Paste formula, Paste Values. Hope that helps you.
Buen video, como puedo arrastrar una fórmula creada en una fila pero quiero arrástrala para las filas de abajo , sin usar el mouse ?
So the issue we're having is about syncing numbers across multiple devices and having it update accordingly. One of our Ipads doesn't save data to numbers app, it refuses to sync and deletes data input into it.
Is there any way at all to have a sum formula subtract instead of add? Or multiply?
Hi
I like your tutorial, how do I get on this spreadsheet
Hello, i couldnt find the short cut of command+shif+c and v cell format copy on ipad, do you know that is it possible to do this without keyboard?
