At 20:00 what Kushal is saying is right. As someone who is currently obese ,it also lowers persons self esteem issues because we don't feel attractive . Also you feel less energetic . More health problems arises.It's not easy to lose weight and then weight comes back in vengeance as soon as you lose little bit of focus.
As someone who has been overweight and now a bit health conscious, I second that. When I was in bad shape people could only see my physical self not in good shape but when it came to mental health, I was all alone.
I would encourage you to keep pushing, gradually it just becomes a part of your lifestyle and you have a new standard for yourself.

Ads encouraging stress eating like this one are pure evil. I used to do it and got fat, and could never go out in public/socialize. I'm starting to wean off and am confident I can get back in shape in a year, but my 20s is totally ruined. After 30, I can never have the kind of fun I could have in 20s because I am budda. Hearing stories of my friends where they had fun in 20s makes me sad and depressed all the time. But more dangerous is people getting diabetes early, where you actually lose life over this. This whole 20s thing is a stupid rant by me but the diabetes thing isn't. Poeple should trash these ads left right and center

@@orthodel I am from punjab, only handful people will agree with you about modern farming, rest will say bc chup Kar ja, water level is down to scariest level, still they are growing rice. But northeast states are doing tremendous job as well as South Indian states too.

Everything but history. He is clueless of Indian history and especially Indian philosophy aka the Upanishads. It feels like he defends Sanatan Dharma because it is under threat not because he understands it's philosophy. Sree Iyer once told him that there are no polytheistic religions and he didn't even know that Sanatan Dharma is not polytheistic.

But don't get me wrong AIM certainly has a place and is a doing a commendable job. My point was more towards the fact that I see him jumping in defence of Sanatan quite often and then find him a bit clueless about the theology. I can see him as a free speech activist or an equal opportunity offender but never as a Hindutwa activist. And we need more of the latter imo.

i took oath to myself to reduce my weight.. i started controlling my diet.. and i atarted running like a crazy.. 3pm to 6 pm everyday...

I'm not informed enough about the grooming thing but one thing that we should take notice of the ongoing conditioning of children through media wether it's cartoons, movies , music or even through schools.
They are trying to normalise s+icide or suic-dal thoughts, sexual abuse and p*dop*ilia,Losing parents , emotional vulnerability etc.
The Disney movies are full of these themes with subtle messages and imagery.

I am a 100% vegetarian & I don't think it's that hard, it's only that people r surrounded by bad cooks/boring food & also they like to stay ignorant of how a living thing is killed(which shows stimulus & resistance might I add bcoz I know the stupid "plants r living things too" argument would be here too,well they r but what they also do is they shed their fruits & vegetables willingly which also grows back, never seen a hen or a goat grow it's head or leg back,have you?).My mother is a great cook & I had no problem with eating whatever strictly vegetarian dishes she cooks, hamare paas masale hai for god's sake,America nhi hai jaha ek sukhi bread me saada tamatar,kheera aur mayonnaise pel liya aur char liya.

I have been fat and thin and on both sides of the spectrum as well as fit. The point I want to make is, to stop supporting old people. When you are fat-shamed by your close folks and yet forced to eat white rice or else will be ostracised, you ask how will I lose weight. As Abhijit said in an earlier podcast, my advice to folks is to become financially independent and to do yoga, meditation, lunges, bridges, weights, and ply matrix as much as possible. Be nimble and consume as little sugar, rice and oil as possible. The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions. The path way to poverty in white rice, sugar and Oil.

These are just my experience and not empirical and stochastic. They are leftist. In CRT Black, Islamists are considered victims because of many instances of phobia but they are the modern-day Brahmins and casteists of the society. In my hometown, I have a sister of my grandmother whose house I was staying at with her husband and kids. Most of the folks in the family as including the Husband and kids were extremely nice people who had no ill will, none communist. But, she and her 6 siblings (one died in the early 2000s) in my experience are the most bigoted casteist on the planet. This isn't even like you know, proper casteism but rather much worse, they hide their shitty attitude in public while in private they take a bath if they even touch a thing touched by someone who comes from the lower sections of the society. They consider themselves dirty on purpose and are some of the worst casteists I have ever seen. And it's not like our whole society near the coast is casteist. Rather most people are nice but deep in certain sections, you'll find this casteism because many of these people got back their caste after 1900. My family were related to the Polygars who ruled in and around Central Karnataka. After losing to the British they ran westwards towards the coast and settled near the coast but, you'll see that these people are extremely casteist and very very rice loving. They call you a slave if you hate on rice as I've seen them use it to criticize kids. It's not like they are uneducated, I mean half of them are graduates while the other half as at least passed 12th. This lady I was talking about is a State Bank former employee. Yet, the venom I saw in her eyes for Rice Haters is immense. Casteism while weakened is alive in pockets and let's hope our economy industrializes for if it doesn't, the thought leaders of the next 20 years are these shrivelled up crazy old grannies like her.

I am 4 kilos overweight for my BMI. Same rice problem. So we reached an agreement that I would make my food separately. I had reduced my weight during lockdown and steadily maintained it till December 2021. I only switched Rice for Rice Bhakri. And also stopped eating Kolam altogether. Ate thiccboi coarsely ground Rice flour Bhakri and watery dal. I think variety of Rice and fiber content makes all the difference. Problem with thiccboi is it must be prepared for consumption. Otherwise it dries up and becomes cardboard real quick. Stopped eating it post joining work, gained it all back. Guess this is the natural body state.
