I'll have to sadly say I don't really ever see it picking up speed. The concept is so fun and has a lot of potential, but (going off knowing what comes next) something about it all feels off. great video as usual!
Honestly, I thought it's been a great run so far. Sure he doesn't be kaiju superman every episode, but natural character progression and Kafka is pushing towards his goals in the way he sees fit. He isn't at his core, a powerhouse fighter shonen protag. He's shown to be a very human character imo and I appreciate the route they are going and I think it can really only keep getting better.
I have watched all of the episodes so far and the action is for sure picking up. The other kaiju/human that seems to be the bad guy, so far, has me thinking some interesting things for possible plot. The only thing that I could really say that could be considered a complaint is that it seems to borrow a few things from other established series. The secret half and half main character and finding out they are not the only one and the main character being in training to be part of the eradication force against what he partly is reminds me heavily of Attack on Titan. For that matter the group in training with him kind of reminds me both of the group in Titan as well as my Hero Academia. The MHA bit is admittedly much weaker of a comparison but the Attack on titan similarities are more numerous and stronger. Still, I think it will be a great show, I just hope they wrap up the first season well.
Bruh.... What the actual fuck are you talking about.... this show is literally the only anime I have ever actually been interested in keeping up with... like ever. I think it's totally fine to have your own opinion and not agree with the majority......... but like holy honda you are definitely letting some things just fly right over your head if you truly think this show is boring or disinteresting in any way. I guess it simply means your likes and interests differ from the norm/majority, but I would truly be willing to bet it's simply a matter distain for the show's popularity being a "relatively generic shonen". And I don't blame you, that's what it is on the surface. But I think if you aren't in your late 20's or early 30's (like so many anime fans are now), you don't really get the nuance or relatability to Kafka. Also it's just objectively wrong to say it's boring lol. Some of the most entertaining shit visually and musically.
@@DHankins19yeah lol I’m learning there’s like this really odd little group that almost wants to hate on this show for the sake of it. I low key think these people actually love it but don’t want to admit that a shonen that utilizes many tropes we’ve already seen is the best anime in 2024
@@BlooMagoo-ou1ld Is what it is Mal rankings were destroyed by ppl like this. Prob some tik tok brain rot going on here attention span nonexistent in a lot of folks these days. I bet he watches all the Isekai anime though 🤣🤣

I'm glad one of us thinks this.
i've had in my watchlist but I keep finding a reason to start something else lolol. The idea sounds pretty good but im still on the fence about it.
I'd wait until the 12 episodes are all out if I were you
Thanks a lot Kaiju!
You literally just did a summary bruh
Sorry, can't do longer vids on a weekly basis yet🙏🏾
as always superb content :)
Appreciate you 🙏🏾

awesome 🔥🔥
🔥👍
I thought it was a good show only thing is It should get to the point faster when it comes to the main scenes
Pacing = 💩
Good review
I wish the animation was better
Considering that's the best thing about the show (besides maybe the premise) that would only make the whole thing marginally better imo
I would just have to ask, do you need glasses? I'm not trying to be rude but the animation is great.
This is a filler show but still decent!
👍
I agree with you completely!
I dropped it. First episode was unwatchable, 20 minutes in he finally gets turned into a Kaiju and 2nd episode looked forcibly goofy.
First two episodes could've all been one episode. Or 1.5.
Imagine being this dumb 🤣🤣

Making the MC older than other MC's doesn't excuse the bad pacing. Generic shonen or not.
@@nemsreviews there’s nothing bad about the pacing?! Lmao. Wtf is wrong with the pacing?
@@BlooMagoo-ou1ld Don't worry ppl these days are idiots when it comes to anime. There is a war against Shounen anime these past few years.
