i just got done with this anime and it was my guilty pleasure of the season. i kind of hate the love triangle aspect however especially when nobody made any moves at all. i don’t read mangas unless i really really like a series and this was a pretty nice change of pace from solo leveling and mashle. i have no real big complaints but season 2 needs to sort this love triangle (love square?) before i rip my hair out.
I enjoyed the first few episodes of this show, up until he met the upperclass girl, but I found myself retroactively disappointed after reading a few chapters of the manga. The cheap production value and desire for mass appeal significantly tones down the lovely art (especially of Minami), the fun Hokkaido factoids, and the general horniness. They even changed Tsubasa's visual design and character to be more in line with other modern harem protags. I'd agree with you and say it's still worth people's time to get a light, fluffy romance, but the manga is definitely a better investment.
I only clicked on this video to say that i initially thoughtbthe thumbnail was a gender bent boruto since she has blonde hair kinda blue eyes, and the jackets look the same
You missed out on Dangers in My Heart, which is far better. Episode 12 of Hokkaido gals is a botch fest, where the chance for the other two girls to gain ground was bolluxed away due to Fuyuki leaving the country. I like these kind of cheesecake type shows, but this one ends badly.
@@nemsreviews What's insane, is Dangers in My Heart definitely has a steady direction to follow. You seem keen on character development, and Dangers has it in droves. Watching season 2 is like watching a sequel movie more than the continuation of a series. The world expands a little, and the development focuses on a dynamic as opposed to individual (sorry if it's confusing, but I'm trying not to spoil anything,. The statement makes more sense if you watch the series)The only romance I'd rate higher than this is Kaguya-sama Love Is War.
let's be real. the only standout part of this anime is the OP being the best ripoff of Uptown Funk since 24k Magic Ok that's too harsh. I love the Canadian accents in the English dub. still, for a manga with such beautiful artwork, it annoys me how lazy a lot of the animation is
Yes! I really couldn't put my finger on what song the OP really resembles. Now I'm at ease so thank you 😅🙏🏾 I'll check out the dub at some point. Funnily enough, I do usually switch from sub to dub even for just moments but I just forgot to on this occasion 🙂
Is the nime good-NO
Is it worth it watching -NO
BUT its not the worst out there
😂
Why is the green tea animated so damn well tho?! Another great video!

as some one who is caught up with the manga, trust me the story is well worth reading and don't let 3 way love war get to you
Alright then. Moving it up the priority reading list🙏🏾

Decided against it as it already had a season 2. But since you've said that much about the series, consider it in my reading list 👌🏾

Fair enough. Bumped up higher in the priority list (a very long list)

@@nemsreviews it REALLY does sound like a more complicated uptown funk doesn't it? idc i love ripoffs anyway and it fuckin SLAPS
Yup! I'm just a listener, not a critic🤷🏾♂️
Nah Uh I love anime waifu Punching Bag 😈 ( kidding) Japan~
