      @@BananaNik Yet they are one...How do you reconcile that ? If you only pick out one aspect, then it's incomplete. The texts show that they are distinct yet they are one. If you cling to "they are distinct" obviously the other side looks like heresy, but they can turn and cling to "yet they are one" and call you a heretic. In reality, it says "they are distinct, yet are one". Meaning clinging to either one instead of the whole is the actual heresy. Though, i doubt this particular disagreement or lack of understanding is a thing that will result in the lose of salvation. I would rather someone have a misunderstanding about the nature of the unity of the trinity, than have them struggle with a misunderstanding of why Jesus came, the laws He taught and why He died on the cross.

    Mohammed (the one who claimed to be a prophet) said that his allah commanded that Mohammed bow down in worship in the direction of the Kaaba just like the pagans did. And Mohammed did that for some 5 years (624 AD to 629 AD) when the Kaaba was a shrine dedicate to 360 pagan idol gods being worshipped there. So who was Mohammed’s allah who was happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst 360 pagan idol gods? Remember the word “allah” only means “the god”.
    We know Mohammed did his pilgrimage to the Kaaba just like the pagans did when all these idol gods were being worshipped there. We know that Mohammed walked around the Kaaba just like the pagan idol worshippers did. We know that Mohammed kissed the black stone just like the pagan idol worshippers did. And Mohammed attributed magical properties to the black stone just like the pagans did. And of course Mohammed never destroyed the Kaaba or the black stone both of which are symbols of idol god worship. So Mohammed did not destroy paganism, he actually practised it.
    As the saying goes, if quacks like a duck and it waddles like a duck it must be a duck. Mohammed worshipped just like the pagan idol worshippers did and that makes him an idol worshippers. And of course one is still a monotheist if one worships only one pagan idol god. But that does not change the fact that Mohammed bowed down in worship to pagan idols which makes him an idolater.

    I once talked to some really nice Christians who were teaching people in a public park. I asked them, if they really believed that the Father and Jesus were separate Gods. They said yes. Then I asked, ok, but if they disagree with each other, which one of them takes precedence? They emphatically explained - "oh no, that could never happen, because they are of ONE MIND". Then I said, it sounds like you really believe in one God, not two. They didn't disagree with me. But who am I to tell people what they should believe? I merely reacted to their teaching in my own way.

    • @Kimkong2
      @Kimkong2 Месяц назад +1

      I can see your point clearly and it's not an easy thing to comprehend but it can be apprehended. And we humans mimic the same state of being, in that you can be a son a father and a brother and still be one same person in body but adopt different persons psychologically. Now the part that can't be comprehended by humans is how God is able to have those persons seperate from Himself. Probably because He isn't limited to mortality and is all powerful.
      The part of the different persons disagreeing is also interesting. From the human perspective, a man who appears as a son may have a differing opinion when he appears as a father. So in this way the 2 persons who are one, can disagree. But this is only possible because man is confined in time, which is one of the the mechanisms that allows for us to change our mind. But God is not constrained by time, which means His mind never changes, which is why ther persons of God cannot disagree with themselves. It's also the reason why the devil and his demons cannot be forgiven, because they made a decision outside of time. This also brings to light the love of God for man, that time istelf is a gift that God gives us to facilitate our ability to change our minds and turn to Him.

      @@Kimkong2 certainly, I am a son, an father, a brother, also a husband, an employee, etc. These are not different people, these are different roles I play in my life. Also, these roles can sometimes conflict with each other - e.g. my wife wants to do something together tonight, but my boss wants me to work late. And each time, I have to decide which role is going to take precedence in each situation, i.e. resolve the disagreement. But with all that, no-one would ever say that I am 5 different people.
      Maybe you're trying to say that the Christian concepts God the Father and God the Son are different roles that the Universal God takes on, rather than separate entities ?

      @Kimkong2 Месяц назад

      @@markrcca5329 Ive edited my prior response to include some aspects about time. But basically, even in the sense where you wife wants you on a date at the same time your employer wants you at a shift is only a predicament because you are limited by your body and by time. Even still, your two persons as husband and employee are unified in their desire to want to spend time at the job and with your wife. They are still in perfect harmony and agreement in this case. With God, not limited by time, mater or space, can be in the different roles by His 3 persons. Paul kind of describes it in 2 corinthians 13 14. He describes the Holy spirit as the person of fellowship, Jesus to be the person of grace and God the father as the person of love. Basically, a best friend, a spouse and a parent.

    God spoke the planet into existence with indescribable power; a power we cannot define, comprehend or reproduce. This power surpasses intellect, which has only been deposited to man for understanding scripture and the fulfilment of tasks within the world. If we stand on a mountain and look into the distance, we can only see as far as the eye has been designed to see. Yet, God can be everywhere all at once. As with the limitation of sight, if we cannot be intellectually complete within the world, how can our minds be sufficient to comprehend a God that's outside of it. When we view God primarily through the lens of our minds, we allow intellect to overshadow faith, and faith in Jesus Christ is the only way we can be accepted by our divine creator.

Jesus just like a father, is willing to limit his powers/abilities in order to be equal to his son and to better understand the hardships he is going through. I don’t usually comment but I want to make an exception and I pray that God will give understanding to those who are sincerely seeking to understand the mystery of The Trinity.
    Concerning The Trinity, God has an essential mode and an existential mode. In God’s essential mode; He is One God and in His existential mode He is Three distinct persons (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit)
    To further explain this, Jesus said that I am the water of Life. So we will use water to also illustrate this concept of the Trinity. Water has one essential mode and three existential mode. The essential mode of water is H2O and its existential mode is solid, liquid and gas. Ice water, liquid water and gaseous/ steam water are all H2O. Ice water is not liquid water and liquid water is not gaseous/steam water and gaseous/stream water is not ice water
    At lesser and not so accurate illustration will be the US government. The US government is one in essence but the manifest in three existential mode; the executive, the legislative and the judiciary. They are all different but equal. They are also called the US government. The executive is not the legislative and the judiciary is not the executive and the legislative is not judiciary but they are all the US Government.

    Mohammed's "the god" (that is all that allah means) is NOT the GOD of the Christian and Hebrew Bible and Mohammed’s “the god” is not the GOD of Abraham. How do we know. First of all the Christian and Hebrew GOD calls HIMSELF our Father in heaven (Isaiah 63:16 ESV, Matthew 6:9-13). Mohammed's "the god" says he is the Father of no-one. (surah 112:3-4 and Surah 19:92) Mohammed's "the god" commanded Mohammed to bow down in worship to a shrine dedicated to the worship of 360 pagan idol gods (that is the Kaaba btw), something our GOD of the Bible would never do. ( 2 Chronicles 36:15-23). Mohammed's "the god" calls himself the best deceiver and our GOD of the Bible tells us that HE never lies. So three reasons why Mohammed's "the god" cannot be our GOD of the Bible.

Why did the explosion of science happen in the Christian space and not in the Islamic space? Something fundamental must be missing in the Islamic worldview.

    The Old Testament and New Testament are adamant and clear that there is only 1 God. The Old Testament said the messiah would be the everlasting father and the mighty God, revelation 1:8 Jesus is the Almighty. Jesus said when you’ve seen me , you’ve seen the father. Simply put, Jesus is God. He is God incarnate. There is NO trinity anywhere in the Bible. Jesus is the Holy ONE, not 3. Colossians 2:8-9, For in Him [Jesus] dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus was a part of the Godhead but it all was in Him. When you come to the realization that God himself put on Humanity and died for our sins, it’s just awesome.

    “Rationality should be subordinate to something above it”
    If we took that statement to be true then the following:
    - Being irrational is the subordinate to rationality
    And hypothetically for some stupid reason you wanted to say that; actually no being irrational is the superior mindset
    Then god has no grounds to judge any human for committing immoral acts….
    You really thought you did something with this video 🤣🤣
    We as muslims believe that we cannot rationalise god as god is outside our realm and is beyond our intelligence. We also believe god gave us a mind to think and rationalise that everything came from him, and draw to the conclusion of 1 god.
    You can not draw wisdom from irrationality.
    Your video contradicts itself badly.
    In short according to the logic of this video, you don’t need to be Christian to go to heaven. Better off throwing your chances with Islam in order to have a greater chance of salvation 😂😂

    I was a Muslim 20 yrs. Finally found Jesus. Islam is about your own works to get to heaven. I’ve read the quran and the Bible many, many times. The books are very similar. Most people in the Bible are also in the quran. Abraham, Moses, Noah, Jonah, Joseph, Mary, Jesus. I now know 100% that no angel told Mohammed to write the quran. It’s just water downed scripture copied from the Holy Bible. Islam is not real. Jesus, the only way to the Father is through Him. The beginning and the end. The alpha and omega. The truth stops with Jesus, the cross, and the resurrection! Amen!

I'll be frank, unless you repent and believe in Jesus you will perish. Only Jesus died for your sins, you can't pay for yours. Why? because no one is perfect, and the standard is perfection. The word of God says our greatest works are like filthy works, so you must trust in the saviour. Islam is leading you astray.
      I don't know if you're a Muslim who supports the riots, I'm not going to assume. If you are then firstly I would like to say I don't hate you, nor do I wish any harm towards you. However, I will say this: a true born again Christian is not at all surprised by the Muslim takeover, for it was forewarned in scripture. God (Yahweh) is in control. Even when Jews, Christians and all manner of our people are killed...even when your Mahdi comes which is shall very very soon, the Christian is prepared.
      We Christians are not afraid because we know where we are going. We will be with God for eternity. We have a sure faith that no persecution can remove. It is foolish to persecute the church because it only makes us thrive! I pray you recieve salvation through Chriat too for I don't want you to be lost for eternity.

      You are so true; Just to add to your comment - In the OT - We see the history of Gods' wonderful work by connecting to all prophets - And the prophets teach the law of God & preach to his chosen people Israel to believe who God is; Then the NT - Jesus (the word became flesh) & continue his Father's work by teaching and spreading the love of God to the world - For the last book which the muslim claim the Quran - We don''t see the continuing work of God - We only see that they copy and paste some of the text & stories like Abraham, Moses, Noah, Jacob, Jonah, Joseph, Mary, Jesus from the Bible - Again there's no connection between Allah and his people from the 3rd - 7th century history during Muhammad... BUT just these claims & ugly rules & laws - like allowing to marry 6-9 year old girl, beat your wife, wife are slaves to their husband, kill anyone who leaves (against) muslim & Jesus is just a prophet not God and more etc...

      There is a Muslim dude at work. We get along great, but it's hard to talk about religion with him. He is very closed-minded. It seems to me that Islam is a selfish religion that focuses on knowledge and pride. It's not difficult to imagine a god that can manifest in a variety of ways, including dividing itself. If god can be a burning bush, why can't god be three things at once. Is he just not powerful enough, then maybe he isn't God.
