  • Invasive Silver and Bighead carp are two of the four species of Asian carp that are spreading through the United States. Commercial fishermen like Aurora Fish Company and so many others are leading the fight against this invasive species. Here is just a quick glimpse of what they do every single day.
At Kentucky Lake this goes on every day to help contain the spread of these fish and with them being a resource the market needs to be increased. Whether it be for fertilizer for agriculture or pet treats or even dinner plates this is a bountiful resource that needs to be taken advantage of.

Thanks to the commercial fisherman, i haven't seen a live silver or bighead carp for at least a couple of years down there.

2020, they were EVERWHERE in the Big Sandy area of Kentucky Lake. Fast forward to 2024... I haven't seen a single one this year. Well done, gentlemen!

Have you noticed a comeback of game and native fish in that location? I'd like to get back out there and do another video!

When I was with them they were selling from $.15- $.25 a pound depending if it was going to fertilizer or food grade.
