In this video I get to join a small group called the Weed Warriors of Ijam's Nature Center! We target several invasive plants on Otter Island. Chinese
Privet, English Ivy, Bush Honeysuckle, Winter Creeper, Mimosa are all just a few of the major hitters in this area of Tennessee. Ijam's Nature Center sits in the metro area of Knoxville and is a haven for nature and nature lovers alike. Invasive species like these affect not only biodiversity but peoples' experiences with nature and natural settings.
