I listened to a Jeremy Lin interview today and he said some interesting things about how he started some games to give the regular starting back court rest in the later part of the season. This is key. Additionally I commented on that video that he should feel that he deserves the championship ring because this was part of the process that kept the Raptors team healthy. Notice how none of their players suffered any injuries during the playoffs that kept them out of games. OK, the Raptors didn't play in the last four championship series, I know someone will make this point. But, also because of the fact that the Raptors had a better regular season record, that gave them an edge of home court against every other possible opponent in the playoffs except for the Bucks. Look at how poorly the GSW played during the regular season compared to their previous regular seasons. Additionally I did hear sports commentators mention that this year's GSW medical team was new. Say what you want. I know the GSW couldn't resist the allure of having a new championship banner raised at their first home game in their new arena next season and being able to say they threepeated just like the great Bulls teams did. That had to be a huge driver in the decision making to get KD back. The fact that KD was basically no longer under contract after he was injured during the Rockets series was a secondary issue. Could you imagine the GSW putting him back out there if he had another year on his contract??? Clearly this is a factor that only the GSW management has the information on how much this was either in the back of their minds or even perhaps it was discussed. We'll never know.

Clearly and Achilles tear would significantly reduce his value vs a “calf strain”. Not saying this is true, but this is a legitimate reason as to why the Warriors May have lied.
Exactly. And the ice was always down on the back of his heel not up on his calf. It's too much of a coincidence to tear your Achilles after just being cleared totally of a "calf injury" which isn't connected.
COULD HAVE. Some teams may be like that. You have to know the ownership, front office, coach, and their track record, to have an opinion on that. Knowing what I’ve read about this org., And what they’ve always said, They’ve never wanted to risk an athlete’s career to have him play. It seems they ALWAYS are holding them out longer than both the athlete and the fans want!! Only Kevin knows for sure, but I trust the Warriors organization because of their track record. And no one but the players and doctors know them well enough to have an opinion on a particular organization.
G P Steve Kerr has ALWAYS been a players’ coach. If you listen to his interviews, you KNOW he’s keeping a level head and doing what’s best for the players. Same with Bob Myers - GM.
Thanks Doc for all the fascinating info! Would you be able to go over some more hockey injuries, particularly with emphasis on guys like Patrice Bergeron playing with a collapsed lung and the long-term impact of such a thing? Finally someone is talking with sense! NBA commentators and so called analysts keeps blaming the warriors for what happen to snake. I hope those so called analyst can watch this so that they can learn and give proper judgement to what happen.
What about the craziness that happened w/ IT that got the medical staff fired on the celtics? Did they ignore their judgement and cleared him bc he wanted to play?
beau knows88 I could easily be wrong but I think they ignored the signs and cleared him to play. Once he got really badly injuries they were fired so the franchise didn’t look bad
Can you explain how an achilles rupture or slight tear affect athleticsism and what different surguries do in comparison to just letting it heal together
0:50 Teams don't disclose the full extent of injuries all the time and mentioning the Achilles is much more alarming to most people than just calling it a calf strain. Believing it was less severe would keep their opponents worried about him coming back quickly so they'd use different strategies like resting their stars a little more so they'd be ready when he returned. Also with KD's tough and private nature he may have led his own team and trainers to believe it wasn't as bad as it was, on purpose or unintentionally. Either way though great video.
Ive been saying this since i saw him icing it BEFORE he ruptured it on the bench! who ices a calf/achilles before playing! the ice is what caused it, i dont know why its not being talked about more.
YO DOC. THE REASON WHY THE WARRIORS DIDNT JUST COME OUT AND INITIALLY SAY THAT KD'S INJURY IS ACHILLES RELATED IS BECAUSE OF THE ODDS IN GAMBLING HOUSES. THE ODDS FOR BETTING IN THE FINALS WOULDVE DRASTICALLY CHANGED IF THE PUBLIC IMMEDIATELY KNEW THATS KD'S INJURY WAS THAT SERIOUS AND THAT HE HAD ZERO CHANCE OF COMING BACK TO PLAY. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.
Outstanding video! Keep up the great content you have improved substantially since you started, and these videos have inspired me to go into medicine! Thank you!
I removed my comment as I posted it without watching the whole video and thought you handled every topic perfect. I made my comment just seeing the topics and not listening to your points 1st. I apologize. Great video. Gained a sub.
Forget the literature. No way these two injuries were unrelated. Imo, its probable his calf muscles were simply not strong enough to support the pressures under game conditions. It probably caused over compensation and pop!
I had a very similar injury to the calf area when I was playing basketball a few years ago. I planted my foot to make a sudden stop and felt a pop in the exact same area that Kevin Durant grabbed right after his initial injury and and like KD, I couldn't tell if it was my calf or Achilles because it was right where they meet and it was very deep and completely isolated. It felt like someone drove a nail right between my calf muscles and right underneath it, but very deep inside. 13 months later I was playing in my weekly league as I have done all my life and I went to make a quick change of direction and tore my Achilles. Knowing how that injury feels, it can fool you into a misdiagnoses very easily. Having had both of those injuries, I definitely think one leads to another. My opinion is that it's a high Achilles tear located just below the calf and extremely deep and almost underneath the calf muscles. It's literally tucked away deep inside and you can't exactly tell where it's located at because if the depth of it.
I am sure KD got it checked out by another doctor (ie second or third opinion). Unless this is one huge conspiracy, i doubt there is anything more to it than a fluke/horrible injury.
Ice was at the very top of his achilles which is also the same spot as at the very bottom of his calf muscles - so really no way for any of us to be sure.
Money was the motive. The team gets a big bonus as a whole if they win the finals. All staff members involved. They looked at KD like a golden egg and in the end he cracked open. Smh
Why wouldn't the medical team cover up? Based on all of your incredible insight, we can conclude his Achilles rupture was a a freak accident. And I just can't wrap my mind around that. Can't just be a coincidence. But you're only looking at the evidence, backing your opinion purely on scientific facts. I say somehow the initial injury was more than a calf strain. Otherwise there's just too much coincidence. Thank you for your video and research.
Hey Doc, I'm and athletic training student so these things really interest me. I got a question/hypothesis that I hope you can answer. So I've heard that there are corticosteroid injections which can help speed the recovery of a strain, the downside of these injections is that it may weaken some other structures. What if this was the case with KD? What if he got some of these injections to speed his recovery in hopes of playing again but his achilles tendon was weakened by them which led to his torn achilles? Please let me hear your thoughts on this. Love your videos and I get a lot from them, keep up the good work!
Just curious here. Could the cushioning systems in contemporary sneaker tech be a factor in calf/lower leg injuries? I noticed Iggy with a similar injury in the lower calf but on the other side. KD had recently switched into the latest iteration of his sneaker line and I noticed Iggy wore the KDs until switching to the Kobe 4 protros. May not correlate, but just had to throw that out there.
I think it was probably the soleus because of how low the injury was, people don’t understand everything is interconnected in your body and if one thing is injured you can injure something else.
This clarifies a lot of questions for me. HOWEVER, it feels better just blaming the warriors for pressuring him to play when his body was already compromised with the calf injury
Regarding misdiagnosis - the prevailing theory behind this is that the team doctors or team management PUSHED the calf strain diagnosis to the player and others in order to minimize the issue. This is a business we are talking about. The player in question is part of their product. The goal of the business is to increase revenue. So it is in the best interest of the business to have the product available for public consumption as much as possible. Some are implying that the team doctors and people that were aware of the actual issue simply rebranded it. If a player sustains an injury, the first person to likely be notified of the test results would not be the player himself, but management. Many are suggesting the team doctors, or more over the team management down-played this injury and labeled it as a calf strain. If you all recall, the actual specific injury was never listed on the team chart. Durant was simply out with "an injury". That was an important piece because in hindsight no one would be able to point back at what the prior injury actually was. The most logical conclusion here is very straight forward. Durant initially had a achilles related injury in which he had a slight tear in his achilles tendon. Sure the calf could have been involved in that injury but that is unlikely the case. If the team said publicly that Durant had suffered a minor achilles related injury and stated "this is a very minor issue and Durant should be back in one week", the media would have overblown the situation. As soon as the team says achilles, that is all anyone will hear. Even if they say the injury is minor, everyone would advise Durant not to play to risk further injury. His family, friends, media, most everyone would have said this. If instead the team states it is an uncertain foggy calf injury then his family, friends, and media would have little concern about this injury becoming worse. What does the team have to gain from this? Everything. Stating this is calf related rather than achilles is good from a PR standpoint. It is better for business. The players are employees of the company. They are told whichever version of the truth that the business decides. Given that sports business is dishonest and primarily cares about money, this conclusion is by far the most logical. The alternative is that a freak accident happens to his calf. Upon return he has a freak magic UNRELATED major accident? What are the odds of this happening in this sequence? 50,000,000:1? Think about it deeply. This is very difficult to swallow when you have empirical business practices staring you in the face as the more logical conclusion 1) I am suggesting that Durant was told it was a calf strain. Therefore not knowing of any issue to his achilles, be it minor or major, Durant would think he could return soon. More over Durant would feel himself at 100% and provide zero restraint. 2) I am suggesting that Coach Kerr was also told it was a calf strain. This would mean once the player is cleared the coach would have no qualms about having the player in the games. Coach would not utilize load management, or minute restriction, which is what happened. 3) I am suggesting that the team doctors are on the company payroll and answer to the President of Basketball Operations. It is in their best interest to follow whatever narrative that the business wants to project. 4) The only person we see showing guilt, shame, regret is Bob Myers. He gave fake tears throughout his press conference. To me his "emotion" was that of someone that made the wrong decision, knew they made the wrong decision, and now has regret over his actions. He is a businessman. The players on the team are his products. From a business standpoint, which is what this actually is, misleading. This is a 3.5 billion dollar company. I could write an essay on their financial earnings and market place value alone. So from a MEDICAL standpoint it is nearly impossible that team doctors MISDIAGNOSED the injury, that is correct. From a BUSINESS standpoint, it is highly probable that the business mislead the narrative to downplay the situation. They pushed the product to market (RTM) during alpha testing and the product failed due to the underlying issue. Typical business mismanagement when behind deadline and pushing an incomplete product while hiding the issues. Harvard Business School class of 2004. I would wager my degree on this analysis.
Revive - You will probably find this video -- ruclips.net/video/KVniOBXOQ-g/видео.html -- from BBALLBREAKDOWN informative because it includes footage from the two games. (Coach Nick welcomes on the show Brian Sutterer, a Physical Medicine & Rehab Resident Physician, to discuss how severe Kevin Durant's achilles injury is and if his earlier injury to his calf caused it.)
Will the arm injury series be continued? I’ve seen many doctors say that the increase of velocity in modern baseball and high pitch counts lead to arm injuries, but then we have Nolan Ryan who pitched until he was 46 and once threw over 200 pitches in a game! Nolan Ryan is one of the hardest throwers in the history of baseball and has probably the highest career workload ever, and yet he avoided arm injuries before we really knew the intricacies of the pitcher’s arm health. Would love to see your explanation on that subject!
As always another outstanding update Doc. You give us diehards a go-to team doctor of sorts and that's tight. Thank you. Now, I understand that no one can predict how the average person let alone a professional athlete will recover from an Achilles injury, but in your opinion, given his age, build, and prior injuries, any chance as to whether or not KD can pull a Dominique Wilkins and come back at 100? And as it stands at this moment, who do you think has it worse, Klay or KD?
wow that was incredibly informative and i now change my stance that the warriors org did durant dirty bc they prioritized a ring over a player's health. durant still a snake tho but i wish him good luck. Can you do a video on Sherman and share your thoughts? Does Sherman making a comeback give Durant more hope?
This MD is spot on, even though I know nothing about sports injuries. Great video, like how Doc breaks it down and I'm convinced that the decision to allow KD back onto the court was a well informed decisions. Hey man, sh*t happens, and it did here. At the end of the day, KD is a grown man and he alone made the ultimate decision. No one to blame here, move along.
I had a similar injury and my entire team made fun of me. They said my injury wasn’t real and I was just hurting and sore. Well I went to the doctor and she didn’t really do much, I never got tested. I went back after two months of sitting on the bench, and ran a week then went into a meet. I ran about half the race (it’s a 3 mile race) and it started hurting, so I stopped. Best decision I ever made because came back and did very well in track, and then my next cross country season and the next track season I made good moves and basically set PRs in all my races. To sum it up, I was cleared by my doctor even tho they didn’t run any tests, It hurt to run, and I said nope I’m not doing this to my body. Funny thing, the very next year, a teammate of mine suffered the same injury, she got tested, and she was on crutches for the next 4-5 months. I said hey you’ll be alright, your injury is real and so was mine.
whether it's a finals game or a preseason game shouldn't matter...you are required to be out 6 to 8 weeks for a calf strain...KD came back after 4 weeks....Warriors have to take the blame
@@sirebellum0 I watched the video smartie. But if you watch where Kevin Durant put the ice it was directly on the ankle at the lower part of the Achilles not up on the leg even the soleus at all.
It was probably a combination of KDs own physical toughness and doctor recommendations. Because KD knew he would be leaving the team in free agency and the odds of him returning to another NBA finals is significantly lower than it would be if he had stayed with the Warriors. So I’d say it was just a combination of circumstances that may have led to a premature return
Yo Andre Igouadala came out in an interview recently and said that the warriors organization had lied to him about an injury before so he can play. So lying about the injury could be plausible
Thanks..someone said it..it was always obviously a achilles..he grabbed his Achilles from his initial injury..his reaction told it all..i think he knew if he addmited it was a Achilles doctors wouldnt let him play
Personally I'm not sure. When the original injury happened, just about everyone who saw it thought achilles. We were told calf, when shown icing KD had the ice very low where his achilles should be. KD comes back and in 12 minutes of play fully ruptures his achilles. Seems a little fishy. I'm hoping they didn't lie to KD about his injury, but I've also heard that the Warriors and KD agreed to call it a "calf strain" because KD was going to be a free agent, and a potential Achilles injury may turn off suitors. Though in that case I don't understand why KD would play.
@@infiniteimprovement Pat Riley said he said he'll sign KD in a heartbeat after his Achilles Injury. Warriors already going to sign him on Max. It was not misinformed. It could just be a separate Injuries. Those are consistent with his age and experience in the NBA.
@@highmorale4439 that wasn't my theory, that was something I heard Broussard say on Undisputed, which he heard from an insider allegedly. Either way, I still think it's too much of a coincidence that all that happened prior to him rupturing his achilles in 12 minutes of play.
Recently I’ve been having mild calf and Achilles pain on and off mostly from being in uncomfortable shoes at work. Now I’m kinda afraid of playing basketball and being active because I’m so paranoid of rupturing my Achilles. Like I went to physical training and got checked and I passed all the tests like standing on my toes and doing all of the stretches. But I’m still too paranoid to go back into playing. I hate this injury
What do you think about Durant icing his calf when he briefly came out of the game. I would think that you'd want to keep that muscle warm and loose. Icing it before jumping back into the game seems counterintuitive. Do you think that could have contributed to the rupture in any way?
I considered talking about that, but the rupture happened after he had been back in for a while ..also, do we know for certain it was ice and not a hot pack?
Hi Brian, could you do a review of Eric Berry’s injury? It was initially an Achilles injury but turn into some kind of bone spur that left him on the bench for almost a season after his Achilles was already healed.
Hi. The Utah Jazz just traded for Mike Conley. 2 years ago he had an Achilles injury and then heel surgery. Could you please explain what the heel surgery was for, if the 2 were related, and how to know if he's susceptible for re-injury?
Good video but I’m not buying that nba has no reason to lie. $120M is a big reason to lie. Kd being a super athlete and his team making him able to reach a reasonable health to be able to play even of high risk of reinjuring the calf pushed it. Please tell me that there are some research about muscle compensation and it could be the reason why some part of his calf complex weakened or overused resulting to the achilles tear.
I think that people just want an explanation for everything, but sometimes there isn’t an explanation. Especially for a non-contact injury, the only explanation there is is that he put too much pressure on his back foot
How did the ex-athletes in the media know it was an achilles injury, or at least there was a risk of injuring the achilles, before the Warriors were calling it a calf strain and even after the Warriors insisted it was a calf strain?

It seems they ALWAYS are holding them out longer than both the athlete and the fans want!! Only Kevin knows for sure, but I trust the Warriors organization because of their track record. And no one but the players and doctors know them well enough to have an opinion on a particular organization.
G P Steve Kerr has ALWAYS been a players’ coach. If you listen to his interviews, you KNOW he’s keeping a level head and doing what’s best for the players. Same with Bob Myers - GM.
js59695 how in the world is that moronic. Explain to me how that is not a legitimate reason to lie about a players injury
Barbara Hamlyn seems like YOU know the ownership, front office, and coach lol
Love watching a Doc diagnose sports injuries in an understandable manner keep it up man
Thanks Doc for all the fascinating info!
Would you be able to go over some more hockey injuries, particularly with emphasis on guys like Patrice Bergeron playing with a collapsed lung and the long-term impact of such a thing? Or some particularly bizarre baseball injuries, such as whatever happened with Yoenis Cespedes or Carlos Correa breaking his rib during a massage?
You’re so well spoken and informative.
Really look forward to watching your videos from now on you’ve gained a Sub
Keep up the good work 👍🏽👍🏽
Keep up the videos they're very helpful
You are who I strive to be I'm second year college student football player majoring in both biomed science and psychology looking to go to a DO school and specialize in PM&R in the army. I appreciate all the Vids love them keep it up!
As a lifelong Warriors fan I think the Warriors lied - they wanted a ring ceremony in their new 1.5 billion dollar stadium.
no your not....if you were you would know their history... troll!!!!
You NEED to be on ESPN, bro!!!! U clearly have more knowledge and explaining ability than all of them combined! Get this man ON ESPN!!!
Great analysis!
Been here since 10k subs. Huge fan dude. You’re extremely underrated. You’ll 100% make it to 1 mil one day. No doubt.
Appreciate it !
Keep up the good work. You make it easy to understand Dr. Sutterer
Kinetic chain. Wow. That's the difference between your channel and a bunch of talking heads shooting off opinions. This was really really good and a very plausible theory as to what really happened. Thanks for the enlightenment.
This channel is like Athletic Injuries for Dummies. I'm referring to myself here, not any other commenter. Fascinating!!
Congrats on your success, very good content
Been waiting on this video!!
Warriors went from doing nothing to 10 min practice 3 on 3 to nba finals game in 2 days so what do u think the outcome was going to be once he put real pressure on the leg.
Joe Jones don’t forget he played 12 of the first 14 minutes and iced the leg. I wish he would mention the ice and give some insight.
js59695 3 weeks doing nothing not ready to play basketball at 30 years old. He is not 18
js59695 yeahhhhh noooooo thats now how it works
js59695 age does matter 30 used to be old. Now people say 30 is new 20 but he’s still 30 years old. If age doesn’t matter then I guess people can play pro ball till they are 50
js59695 after what happened do you still think he should have played? I said before why is he playing. Then going out icing his Achilles or his lower calf.
All these videos make me super uncomfortable and make me think I’m gonna injure everything but they’re really interesting and well done so I can’t stop watching them 😂
that decision to compete and balancing risk/reward must be crazy for Football players or even MMa fighters wow...Kd did it for love of the game, thats only way you take that risk.
Once he got really badly injuries they were fired so the franchise didn’t look bad
zack keller i see!
He deserves way more subs and views!! I love this channel so badly!
Can you explain how an achilles rupture or slight tear affect athleticsism and what different surguries do in comparison to just letting it heal together
Not true, some ruptures are manged without surgery and it's a big point of research in the non high level athelete population
Brian Sutterer MD Thank you! Keep up the good content
You earned a subscriber in me. Top of the line explanations.
bottom line is durant was a try hard because of too much pressure from the media especially espn
It's a management fault
Who the hell is disliking this content?? Fools! Great work, keep them coming
Thanks!!
G.O.A.T Doctor channel
I saw Kevin Durant on the sidelines icing his Achilles before playing - if the tendon was cold would that make it brittle and easier to rupture???
Ive been saying this since i saw him icing it BEFORE he ruptured it on the bench! who ices a calf/achilles before playing! the ice is what caused it, i dont know why its not being talked about more.
@@michaelandrew83 lmao..
You earned my respect. Love your vids doc.
Love your vids Brian!
Just got hip to your channel. Great video!!
Outstanding video! Keep up the great content you have improved substantially since you started, and these videos have inspired me to go into medicine! Thank you!
That's great to hear !!
What a deep analysis and explanation
I removed my comment as I posted it without watching the whole video and thought you handled every topic perfect. I made my comment just seeing the topics and not listening to your points 1st. I apologize. Great video. Gained a sub.
No worries, thanks for the honesty with it!!
Thank you for breaking this down !!
Good job doctor another great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Forget the literature. No way these two injuries were unrelated. Imo, its probable his calf muscles were simply not strong enough to support the pressures under game conditions. It probably caused over compensation and pop!
Thanks for the informative explanation. It was really easy to understand. Where's the hater of this doctor saying he doesnt know sports injuries? Lol
Idk why but i support and love the fuck out this channel. You make this doctor stuff interesting, i hope you go far man.
Thank you for thinking it thru for us, seriously thanks! 👍
how many subs for a leg reveal?
1 mil.
Lol
Brian Sutterer MD /remindme heh
Lmao
lmao
Amazing video. Thanks for expertise and insight.
very beautiful said, thank you
Love your videos doc 🙏🏽
I was very keen on the soundtrack you put at the beginning . I think you should place one like this in the background
Great video doc
Nice vid man
I am sure KD got it checked out by another doctor (ie second or third opinion). Unless this is one huge conspiracy, i doubt there is anything more to it than a fluke/horrible injury.
MrC3P It was reported that he had received a second opinion from non-team doctors.
But doc, we saw KD grab near his ankle on the first injury, and the ice was down low. How would that be explained?
Ice was at the very top of his achilles which is also the same spot as at the very bottom of his calf muscles - so really no way for any of us to be sure.
Yes, he was DEFINITELY grabbing his lower calf, and not his ankle. All the commentators also were commenting on that at the time of the 1st injury.
Money was the motive. The team gets a big bonus as a whole if they win the finals. All staff members involved. They looked at KD like a golden egg and in the end he cracked open. Smh
Youre so awesome Doc!
Lower limb injuries are tough to recover from. I have calf issues along with Tibia anterior. Doing physio a lot.
Good stuff 👍🏾
Hey Doc, I'm and athletic training student so these things really interest me. I got a question/hypothesis that I hope you can answer. So I've heard that there are corticosteroid injections which can help speed the recovery of a strain, the downside of these injections is that it may weaken some other structures. What if this was the case with KD? What if he got some of these injections to speed his recovery in hopes of playing again but his achilles tendon was weakened by them which led to his torn achilles? Please let me hear your thoughts on this. Love your videos and I get a lot from them, keep up the good work!
Zaza dressed as a doctor and told KD he could play
Just curious here. Could the cushioning systems in contemporary sneaker tech be a factor in calf/lower leg injuries? I noticed Iggy with a similar injury in the lower calf but on the other side. KD had recently switched into the latest iteration of his sneaker line and I noticed Iggy wore the KDs until switching to the Kobe 4 protros. May not correlate, but just had to throw that out there.
Insearchof your right, you see how loose kd shoe is.
Great video! You should be on the warriors medical staff!
This is very difficult to swallow when you have empirical business practices staring you in the face as the more logical conclusion
1) I am suggesting that Durant was told it was a calf strain.
He did have an outside opinion by his own doctor. Who cleared him as well
If they thought his original injury was a calf strain why was he icing his leg so low? His ice packs were all the way down to his shoe.
Im learning more on this channel than my actual anatomy class 😂
Ok then why was he icing his Achilles and not his calf right before the last injury in Game 5?
Did you even watch the video??? If so, you clearly missed the soleus part and should watch again
Finally someone who paid attention
@@sirebellum0 I watched the video smartie. But if you watch where Kevin Durant put the ice it was directly on the ankle at the lower part of the Achilles not up on the leg even the soleus at all.
He was cleared by someone who didn't have his best interest at heart.
He should've seen an independent doctor.
reports say he did see an outside doctor who cleared him as well
Reports also say that his team had a part in him returning
@@carlosdagoat reports also say that I am the greatest basketballer of all time
It was probably a combination of KDs own physical toughness and doctor recommendations. Because KD knew he would be leaving the team in free agency and the odds of him returning to another NBA finals is significantly lower than it would be if he had stayed with the Warriors. So I’d say it was just a combination of circumstances that may have led to a premature return
very good! thanks
Yo Andre Igouadala came out in an interview recently and said that the warriors organization had lied to him about an injury before so he can play. So lying about the injury could be plausible
that is not what he said,
It was always an Achilles injury from the start. There is video of his Achilles tendon with an ice pack in the hallway during game 3 or 4.
Thanks..someone said it..it was always obviously a achilles..he grabbed his Achilles from his initial injury..his reaction told it all..i think he knew if he addmited it was a Achilles doctors wouldnt let him play
Doc, would you have cleared him to play if you were the physician and why?
Great video. Agreed, if it was originally an achilles injury, they would have said that exactly. There's just too many "what ifs" to know everything.
Yep, this exactly
He just said it was calf initially based on the second muscle that's lower close to the Achilles! What did y'all watch? Lol
The whole world knew he should’ve NEVER been on the court for the ENTIRE SERIES. Fan or not, he was done in Houston.
@@BrianSuttererMD Yeah, that's a fair point. Definitely could have been a hot pack.
Hey Brian, why do you think there seems to be no research surrounding any correlation between past and future injuries? Curious to hear your take
I wasn't ready for that cadaver's leg..
