This video took me back to when I built a tree swing for my backyard. I followed a similar approach, making sure everything was secure for my kids to enjoy. Seeing them swing and laugh brings such joy to our outdoor time. If you're into outdoor activities like me, you should check out my favorite pickleball gear at Volley Llama. It’s a great way to keep the fun going!

Thankyou ! I allready started to make my swing and I’m olmost finished. It was nice to watch your video for more tips. I will send you a picture when I’m done. I love 💕 wood and I love doing things by myself without having to purchase what everyone else has.

The best film I have watched. Clear and simple. What size is the fid you are using. They are for sale to be used on rope up to or over 16mm. Is that the overall dimension of the rope or the overall dimension divided by 3? So a small fid for 20mm rope, ie 3 strands at 6.5mm each? That is my understanding. Many thanks for posting

It can easily be done, but this way they are a bit stronger :). It is just a design choice.

How are you getting ur drill locations? Is there some division going on to make sure the weight is even or is it arbitrary? Thanks

Is the process mostly the same for a four strand rope? :)
