Blue was so close to losing, if reg had held out for about 30 more seconds those 10 1374 saws would’ve decimated blue
Dear god, those destroy options really kept me hoping and dreading when the terrain expanded.
Red seems to be having performance anxiety for the most part in this one.

Watching the Marbles with like, 5000 points saved up just get destroyed is kind of heartbreaking. I wanted those marbles with the high numbers to be used for an awesome ending!
We still got an awesome ending, but I kind of wish there was more weapon variety...

Love this, just wish the cores were better protected, or the numbers get capped at like 500, love watch long epic battles, 11 minutes just ain’t long enough

What about adding a defensive measure, once a shield has been depleted past a certain point or percentage, it triggers a “Nuke” that eliminates all marbles that arrive at the opponents core for the next 15 seconds, but it has a 3 minute cooldown. Idk something. And yea, I know his duel videos average a little over 10 minutes. But I would freaking love to see one that lasted for like an hour or so.
I lost that 20K+ one red one... i was seriously hoping that one got an attack.
8:11 I like how blue shields come just in time, then later he shoots a bunch of rockets. Then, the 1408 repair chad comes to make sure they're safe. On the other side, Red has a ridiculous amount of shields, plus is just spamming rockets while all this happens.
One thing I noticed is that, after the expansion, sometimes marbles that were supposed to be released would get stuffed in their compartment and hit the Destroy field from below.
Other than that, this is really great.
Blue's main power seems to be spamming health/missiles to the point of clogging it's pipes

Single most heartbreaking moment of the video. So much multiplication wasted.
That one marble caused red to lose very badly and i want a redo on the whole fight BUT red gets 5 marbles (1 million each) and blue gets nothing

The surprise expansion really added an extra layer to this and it really came down to the wire! My boy pulled it out at the last minute though!

I swear bro Mikan can’t just be one guy/gal sitting behind the computer. They have multiple channels, they come out with new ideas every time and they have the coolest fan base ever

EY! That was my favorite one in ages, loved the easy to follow routes and the expansion near the end.
The best part about MIKAN videos are watching them for a couple minutes not knowing how things are working, then you finally get it and continue watching the video lmaoo

Even if blue didn't fire that second-to-last missile rain, they would've still won because of their finishing missile nuke in the end
I have to say you've outdone yourself with this one. This has to have been my favorite since the original tree battle
sugestions for the next:
Defensive: Deflective (send back projectiles thrown, does not work with saws), Mines (destroy the projectiles), The barrier would limit to half of the screen.
Ofensive: Explosive (its value defines the explosion radius), Fragment (when it hits an area, it shoots smaller projectiles back that come back to hit more areas, their number defines how many smaller projectiles it will turn), Drill (Does not lose hp when hitting defenses), Laser (fires a laser in a straight line).
Specials (All are temporary, the number defines the time): Shotgun (Increases the number of cannons to 3), Bounce (projectiles start bouncing on the screen if they don't hit the target), Speed (projectiles move faster)
Was so close in the end could not tell who was gonna win! Great vid!

Tbh core destruction is my favorite series on the MIKAN channel.
Love the new cores; like a mix of the old brick style and the newer liquid style.

Has destruction as part of the mechanics and watch many high value attacks get annihilated by the clone or destroy options. Really didn't care for that mechanic. And death right as a ton of them manage to be on the way finally was just salt in the wound.
I feel like a "divide by 2" or "divide by 10" option would have been better in the cloning section. That way even if a 2k hits the "bad" option, you still have a 1k (or a 200 if it's ÷10) instead of nothing. If you round up to the nearest integer, the 1s will stay 1s and nothing will ever go to 0 or be left as decimals.
That was some intense clutching by both sides. Red's 6.9k stack... 💦💦💦
6.9k? What about the 22k stack that survived destruction, only to go around the circle again to be destroyed the second time?
Still a great race of all! I like the idea of selection, and the sunflower structure of the core.
Still, there are things I want to suggest here.
The shield should be tossed with a random strength, so that the shields won't look bad when they overlap.
The selection chambers' background should be a bit transparent to see what happened behind them.
The core can have more layers than the initial state, in order to make the game more interesting.
Anyway, this is a good battle. I still like it 👍.

When that red 22,000 ball got destroyed, you knew it was over
This was impressive! The numbers had the potential to get REALLY wild, but with only one layer of defense by default, the cores seemed a bit vulnerable. My suggestions for the next Core Destruction done in the format used here would be to either add a default shield layer, making it take more hits to clear a segment the closer you get to the cores, or making it a multi-core format.
This one was so chaotic! I love it!

The missiles shooting out the cannon really reminds me of the silos in Defcon (the game) except this is more tame than the game.

I really hated when Blue got 2 3k repair marbles, and completely fixed themselves, twice over.
And then all of Red's 6k missile marbles got destroyed.
Red got screwed *so* hard!
It had full lethal *in the tube* when it ran out of shielding
Love your videos, MIKAN! Been watching for a while, but rarely comment. Just had some thoughts on the new mechanics:
- A "divide by 2" (or ÷10) option would have been nice. At least then a 22k would only drop to an 11k (or 2.2k) instead of nothing. Granted, this is a smaller sink, but I think that could be compensated for somehow.
- The "cloning" mechanic was pretty overpowered in my option. Having a single 1k hit all 4 clones means (2^4)k or 16k effective will reach the cannon, making even a 1k marble a potential death-sentence. Maybe a less swing-y mechanism would be nice here.
Of course this is only my individual impression! Still really enjoyed the video (and blue won, so ofc it's great), but it feels a little "cheated" since read had that 22k ball floating around for a while...

It would've been SUCH a cool thing to see four really big saw blades racing towards Blue, but instead RNG favors Blue team. Again.
There's also like a 4k saw from blue as well. Very scary stuff

Red is better at the races, while blue is better at the battles because red is outgoing and ambitious while blue is introverted and strategic. /s

MIKAN, there's a yt glitch where some marble race videos are classified as geometry dash, and now im getting cringe skits and memes from it. I don't know what to do about it.
Watching those 6900 red orbs be lost was painful.
I feel that the reapir should have had a different mechanism, maybe a second cannon on a chaotic pendulum or some other random cannon.

since doc671 got hacked, could you do a marble race based on marble siege? it's basically marbles hitting a pad to damage a "boss" while the boss "attacks" the marbles by removing them from the game (although you could give the marbles multiple hits before they die)
since you're all about upgrading marbles, you could have upgrade pads throughout the game too
