It makes it a tough day when you've got to keep picking the bike up! Nice selection of lanes though. I ride an elderly airhead GS so those narrow paths were triggering my width anxiety! 😁

Was so annoying! Just needed longer legs and it would have been a none issue.

Loved the 3 vids so far, great commentary as you go along, might have to give this a go later in the year. The Ryedale rally was cancelled this year, might have to go and do the eastern loop instead. Thanks 👍

    Another entertaining video Charlie.
You did well to ride those narrow lanes mate, I certainly wouldn't be a fan of them. 😩
We have nothing like that here in Tasmania thank god.
    Stay safe.

@@Adv_Charlie you are right we do. Myself and a mate rode the Bruny Island road that you did, that was entertaining in the wet as well.🤣

Hi Charlie, thanks to share your nice video with us. Always a good time.
I would like to have some return of your experience with your 790 on the TET as i have the 890 S. I’m 182cm or almost 6 ft haha, and would like to know if with the experience you have i should upgrade the suspension for something higher and more travel, or tractive upgrade would be enough.
    Thanks :)

I have the Tractive extreme suspension on mine but still the same height as i’m short 162cm (5, 4). The S is not bad at all but you will get more out of it buy upgrading. I’d say go out try it as it is and see you you feel you need more.

Great little adventure, quick question do you find the Scott steering damper alot better than standard, what sort of improvement does it bring, thanks

I think it helps it’s nice to be able to adjust it and turn it up or down on the fly.

Awesome videos fella.. I’m interested in knowing what the navigation set up is…. On your phone?
I’ve always struggled with the nav side as I’m not that computer savvy. Any help would be fantastic
Also where can I find the route info for this who trip 😂

    • @Adv_Charlie
      @Adv_Charlie  Год назад +1

So this trip can be found on the Trans Northern Trail Facebook page. They have a GPX file under the files tap.
The app i’m using is Maps.me in just loaded the GPX file and I follow the blue line.
