Pretty cool on the ceramic bottle, out here in BC sept 1st They have made the deposit fees on ceramic bottles now anywhere from 7 cents to 30 dollars depending of course on the size. Great vids keep it up entertaining to watch and learn. Thanks
Good tip for the merch: just do limited drops on a yearly, quarterly, etc basis and give a window for ordering. That will save you money on the website and from perpetually stocking inventory.
I think that’s the way for sure, I should’ve started with small prints of custom pieces. I thought the numbers would be much higher when I went with POD!
this concept is so cool. we just donate to charity thrift shops where I live. they have to dump so much anyway from damage and use. At least it give stuff a chance before it gets dumped.
It's so hard to find junk in my area for practicing welding, and people are so paranoid. It's probably the only thing that keeps me from becoming a hoarder.
Dude when you find a little treasure in the metal pile at the scrap yard (like what you found with all that copper) You can just load it back into your truck and take it with you... I mean you're paying for it what they paid, so it makes no difference to them (but you HAVE TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE COOL WITH THIS) I used to find A/C units ALL THE TIME in the light iron pile and load them up and make $30 off each one!!! So find out if they are cool with it (talk to a manager of some sorts, not just a worker in the yard... and get their name... so if you do come across something and a worker says something you can say 'well ,so-and-so> told me it was cool' Some people either have no clue what they're tossing out, or just dont care... but you can find a LOT of cool stuff... My favorite was when people just tossed out their computers, and I would go check out the parts and if they were decent, which they sometimes were, I just pull the parts and pocket them because they're under 10lbs (that's 10 pounds for all you metric brainiacs lol) so it wouldn't even register on the truck scale anyway :D
I grew up in Kent, Ohio (yes, Crosby Stills Nash song 4 dead, that Kent. I am also alum of KSU). End of every full semester Kent has something similar for a week. Though I am not a scrapper or ever have been, I used to pick somewhat useful resale things up. Havent lived there in 7 years though. Media items mostly.
HEY THUB DIDN'I YOU SAY THAT YOU STILL HAVE THE BIG PUPLE BAGS I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU ARE AWESOME MAN IM A BIG FAN I'V BEEN SICK AND MY SISTER LOST HER HUB
Idk if you've been asked this before, but wouldn't it be easier getting a job in construction or something?? Idk, not saying this negatively or anything, to each their own..and is this a good way to make money, I'm just thinking with the price of gas n shit, and Calgary being as big as it is, wouldn't most of your money go to gas?? But kepp doing the thing and keep having fun regardless Drake
Always a pleasure seeing you and the scrap. ❤️💙
Love your content man, you’re such an interesting person and your voice is unique. Been watching for a bit now and you’ve earned my sub!

The brand new airfryer was an awesome. Really good easy food. I use mine a lot when I come home tired from scrapping.
Cool idea that more cities should do.
Kent, Ohio does this twice a year 1 week each time.
That penguin could have sat on the dash as your mascot!
The city treasure hunt was pretty cool. Great video

17:20 There is a little bottle museum at Bottle Bin bottle depot (51 Ave) here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 300 km N of Thubprint.
How far is the drive to your yard? Is it worth going if you fill up midday or do you just keep going past full
