Happy Sunday, Y'all!
Happy Sunday to you to Sir , on my way to the dump soon here 🙂
Oregon says God bless your Day!
The funny thing about big heat shrink tubing is that when you need it you REALLY need it, and then you find out just how expensive jumbo size supplies are.
Hello from India ❤
Happy Sunday Mike!
7:18 dude, as someone who's run an office for the better part of a decade I gotta let you know, those boxes of folders start at $20/ box for simple manilla folders and just go up the more intricate they get. Those folders on the resale market could easily go for $30-50 per box.
I was thinking the same. I just bought 10 really low budget folders at WalMart and they were 7 bucks!
((sigh)) Hangs head on desk.
"" MAN OVERBOARD!! DIVE MIKEY, DIVE!! ""
Totally agree with you. Office supplies are crazy expensive now.
Stay careful out there Mikeand Happy Valentine's Day too you and your wife.
Mike the Scavenger, in his natural habitat! The tangy perfume of discarded dreams, the symphony of clinking bottles and rustling plastic bags - these are the scents that stir his soul. Tell me, where has Mike's nose (or perhaps, keen scavenging intuition) led him today? Is it the back alleys of a bustling city, or the forgotten corners of a sleepy suburb? And what secrets might this particular dumpster hold? Is it a treasure trove of vintage vinyl, a forgotten collection of dusty comic books, or perhaps something more… mysterious?

Put the large heat shrink around the handles of your shovels
Now that is a great idea!
Your song: Steel bars wrapped around me...Michel Bolton. LOL 😎

Yes Mike it's always a good idea to wrap the big thing! 😅😅😅 Scrappity scrap!
Mike the large heat shrink is used on large power cables and we use that on our large transmitter cables. Some of them will have glue inside giving it a tight waterproof seal. Connector.
That 3" to 5" heat shrink isn't cheap.
Have a good weekend to you and yours. I was hoping you would put out a video today.
PS: Watch the movie The Bee Keeper.
Heat shrink your hammer handles work that big shrink... yeah boy!
The red lumens camera is for educational overhead displays in classrooms. 👍

Normally they have a remote that looks just like the controller button set up on the unit.
Cool find

Love your taste in music
Score! Whataburger large drink! Winner, winner, dumpster dinner! One of the previous commenters said " How about a contest where the winner gets to go with Mike on a mission to the dumpster/drive-by metropolis. I'M UP FOR THAT!
This is exactly what I needed today.
Mike, I would love to see the tools that you have collected over the years. Man, it amazes me what people throw out 😢
yesterday I picked up a truss squair and a tri squair out of a jockybox someone tossed , its truly crazy what people toss
Tools were never cheap, even, "" back in the day! ""
You always seem to find stuff that you can recycle/scrap out for greenbacks. You're a Master Scrapper, Mike! Thanks for letting us tag along on your scrap runs. I find it very entertaining!
What is cat wire please?
your only seeing the edited highlights for every dumspter he shows us with stuff in it theres possibly 10 that he looked in that had nothing
@@TomSarros-bj2mqethernet cables for networking pcs
@@TomSarros-bj2mq I think he's referring to Category 5 wire which is computer/ethernet type wire. It only has a small amount of wire in the cable that is recyclable so not as valuable as electric wire.
Recycle you mean hoard in his garage 🤣🤣
Been missing you Mike👍🤗
That red weird looking thing with the lamps attaches to a projector and allows you to project any document to a whiteboard.
It is trash even when new.
Thanks Mike!👍👏👏

What a great night! I’m glad that raccoon wasn’t aggressive! They are just starting to wake up and move around here in Indiana. Now I have to be a bit better at closing up the coops so the raccoons don’t get chicken dinner! 😅
I didn't understand what we saw, thought he was joking.
You came.. you saw..
You conquered.. you amazing scavenger Mikey Mike…❤😂

“And here’s some Jurgens for when you’re at work and need to… And ya need some Jurgens…….. my jurgens and working and the John Hancock, ha Herbie Hancock” - Mike the scavenger
That larger shrink tubing could be used to put on yard tool handles.
Mike that large black cables is from xray power cables. Anode cables. Pick them up. Thank you.
Your so right. People are throwing out stuff that should not be in a Dumpster.

Mike's all wired. I'm taking 5 here in Oregon. I might as well watch you scavenge
An Office Space and Tommy Boy reference in one video. Awesome.
It'd be funny if you did an edit when your jumping out the big open tops you fall forever and then land on the ground
When you asked the Racoon what are you doing .
That animal is saying the same as you.

Hi Mike I love your videos I'm from Australia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like watching the follow ups and seeing what you make on the scavenging
Mike it is so nice to see one of your videos we missed you❤️
Hey Mike, that rubber thing with a chain out the end was elevator chain inside. You should have got that scrap, good stuff!!
“Full Copper Jacket joker”
The rubber with a chain is called whisper chain. They use that in elevators to make it quieter so if you see in the movie looks like someone is crawling up and down a big cable that is what it is, it is used for elevators.
Thank you, Mike!😎👊🙏
love the video Mike

It's a shame they don't make those wire spools out of recyclable materials.
Like metal for Mike 😂
That larger heat shrink tubing is EXTREMELY expensive and usually only needed in short lengths. Definitely has some resale value.
i was surprised to see some left in the dumpster

Hi Mr. Scavenger. 😊
Happy Sunday to you sir. Great as always. Thanks mike😊😊😊
I like to use the heat, shrink the bigger pieces for a wrapping tools, but if it’s big enough, you can put around handles on anything shovels even and it sells them off put them on pliers for stuff and shrink it down
It's always a great Sunday funday with a little Mike on the side. 👍
Happy Sunday to you too Mike. Love the change in your voice when you see a lot of wire‼️🥰👍💕. 👵🏻

Great ride along Mike thanks 👍
The big heat shrink can be used for all kinds of handles. Hammers, etc.
I liked the footprints you left in the ACR you landed on.
Man that rubberized cable is perfect to anchor a tree house.
Mike I'd grab all the shrink tubing there was, manufactures are proud of that stuff. Very expensive!!!
That big heat shrink can be used on tools for handles rakes shovels pretty much anything it fits on
