Whats in my Milwakuee packout 5:58
Final thoughts 7:5 Наука
T568B is the only standard I use. Docs I read back in the mid 1990's when UTP started becoming common said something along the line of T568A is for consumer telecom equipment and T568B is commercial grade. So commercial grade is what I stuck with from then onward.
Very nice and organized kit Cody!
Great to see the packouts make it to a video. I need to get a few more to store my extra wall plates and keystone jacks.
The pack outs have been one of my best investments
B termination for the win!! That's a pretty sexy gear pack man!!! Seriously, keep up the great videos!
The team loves these man.. I keep coming back to ur link to re-up on Keystones and buy more crimpers for the team.. Gotta get homie paid!
Nice pro setup!
Nice Tools 😉
Thank you.
Excellent Video
Excellent
I normally use platinum tools and ends and has had good results but will definitely try your suggestions. Will they work wit cat 6A?
T568B.
Milwaukee pack out vacuum and Milwaukee multi tool for cutting drywall
Ohhh I’m going to take a look at those
B here. I ran into issues with some places where a previous installed used A when B is most common (NY-USA), and caused damage to access points lol.
Great video, I saved all those items to my list on Amazon. Need to update and reinvest my arsenal.
Hi which brand of cable do you use for your run?
Is there any alternative to the simply45 caps for those that live in Europe?
Have you ever tried anything from panduit? I feel like they terminate way easier
So I had a question on reusing my keystone jacks. I pulled the existing wires out of the keystone punches, and they look just fine. Is there any concern in reusing keystone jacks like this? Can i wear the contacts down?
Shouldn’t be a problem as long as you didn’t pull any of the conductors.
Milwaukee Packout!! ive been thinking about switching to the vertical cable crimpers
does the price of the Keystones offset the time crimping?
For me absolutely!
You ever use a KNIPEX ErgoStrip Universal Stripping Tool? Looks neat but 40 seems kind of expensive compared to the normal finger rotary tools I am used to. I guess even Milwaukee makes the rotary tools now.
I have not. I used other stripping tools in the past but I find my cable scissors work just as well
Gotcha ! I do mostly electrical but sometimes if data stuff needs to be done I get stuck doing it😂 so I always watch your videos and to see if I can find ways to make my life more easy . Gonna grab me a pair of those quick crimpers. Thanks for all you do Cody !!!
Why do you use an LRAT? Seems like old tech now that BaseT10G is ubiquitous.
The vertical cable tool will work with any keystone? I usually use Vimar keystones.
Can only use vertical cable keystones
Do you know of any punch tool for shielded cat 7 keystone modules?
Hmmm not that I’ve seen. But then again I haven’t worked with cat 7
So I got 3 questions for you.1 I'm curious why you don't use tool less Keystone jacks? How often do you still crimp patch cables? And how long until with Wi-Fi mesh networking and 5G LTE always connected computers is there really going to be a need for cableing?
Toolless jacks are not good and have data loss on them but use what you like, I don’t crimp much RJ45 ends unless going into cameras. They crimper you see me using us for crimping keystone jacks.
You will always have device cabled that will never go away as cabling is more reliable
@@MactelecomNetworks have you tested data loss on the leviton atlas-x1 keystones?
Almost everyone uses "B" not "A" when terminating a keystone jack. Also, "B" is required if you have an RJ45 on the other end of the cable.
"Everyone" that is if you are in the USA. "A" is what I see most in Australia - the only "B" instances I see are when someone who is new to terminating (i.e. not a licensed cabler) has googled it and inevitably found a USA site - it's a dead giveaway clue. But yes - just stick to whatever everyone else is using in your region. Also not quite right that you need "B" on an RJ45 connector - each end simply needs to be the same (A or B) whatever the connection.
But good to see the gear in the video a very close mirror of what I use. Pass-through RJ45 connectors are the best invention - they save a ton of repeat terminations.
@@peterbaayens4868 --- Here in the U.S., if you take a commercial patch cable and cut off one end and terminate it with a keystone jack, it requires "B". Try it with "A" in your country and get back to me.
@@rpsmith 'A' and one end and 'B' at the other end is a crossover cable. Almost any network device built this millennium will do Auto-MDX and work just fine.
Little orange big orange little green blue, little blue big green little brown brown
A in Australia
you need a. truck in the construction industry.
I've been coveting the packout stuff for a while. Just haven't pulled the trigger. I was watching this video the other day about some accessories you can get for it. The last one he talks about is the foam that's pretty cool that you can customize to fit your tools. ruclips.net/video/zvKxLZWM-YA/видео.html
Why do you have a Milwaukee SDS and cut off tool but a DEWALT Hammer Drill? I would expect it would be easier to have all your power tools under one battery brand.
🤷♂️ bought the dewalt when I was first starting out. Then got the Milwaukee after
anyone that uses T568A is our mortal enemy here in the USA 🤣🤣. I NEED THAT PACKOUT KIT OMG THANK YOU.
😂 use what standard works for you; I was just brought up on t568a if I ever do work in the USA I’ll use t568b
B
B !
Ltt screwdriver ?
Nope but should probably get one
@@MactelecomNetworks love your content man. Please keep it up the great work!

Label printers with the letters arranged A-Z are an abomination. QWERTY. Heck, even DVORAK would be fine.
