That is s very polite young man, right there. One hell of a player, too.
Yes sir
That's what happens when you're raised in the South..."yes sir", "no ma'am", etc.
@@guitarpop "southern hospitality" has been studied plenty of times and shows that it has more to do with the sizes of the towns/population of regions. Big cities tend to lead to ruder and less personable individuals.. While being raised in small towns causes individuals to be more polite and wholesome.
Im from a good sized city, 200k people, in the outskirts of the Chicago-subs. You drive 25 minutes south-west and get out in the sticks.. you'll find folks as nice as any other small town. Personality isnt about North vs South.. its about how youre raised, who raises you, youre community and your surroundings that institute your actions and phrasing of words.
1225tdnelson true and well put, sir!
He's a good man you can tell
If everyone was as polite and humble as KingFish this world would be great.
*..N'If?* everyone was as ruDish, rOBISH and soStupidos as trumpieTrumpy, this world would be *NOT* more any'gREAT'. Dont'yo.. Think!
A think it would be a very boring world. Just think about it. A “perfect” world is a world I don’t want to live in.
Yes true. And racist will slowly go away.
Keep working on it.
You’ll get there.
No thank you. I don't need anyone to address me like that. I like casual language. Fuck that yes sir shit.
Kingfish is an absolutely phenomenal player. Awesome to see him at Norm's.
Sheepleton who is this brethren? Never heard of him ..how long has he been playing ? Is he a blues player ? Need some info pls
Vladimir Marley he is the next blues god
D0nRidah nothing but positive vibes for him!!!
He's always such a gentleman. VERY refreshing in today's day and age.
get lost with that cliche
@S***** Fox isnt racist and if you think that youre wrong lol
Spurr S***** never said Fox were racist. But if had said it, it wouldn’t be an untrue statement.
boomer mentality
S***** The fact that 24 other people happen to click on this comment and agree with you just makes me think there were so many more retards out in the world then I could’ve fathomed.
People with big fingers: mY FiNgErs ArE tO biG tO pLaY
This guy: hold my beer
TO THE GUILLOTINE! Why would he have them hold his strat if he was going to demonstrate his guitar ability for them?
@@chrisb7051 tis a joke
donno who says that crap, look at Yngwie's fingers
More like hold my 17 big macs and my 13 full racks of ribs
TO THE GUILLOTINE! Ever heard the saying that all good jokes contain some truth? I mean they gotta at least make sense. It’s garbage
"Yes sir ... Yes sir " . Kingfish can smolder a Fender guitar and be impeccably polite while doin it . His future is bright .
Lmao
I’m 17 and that’s how I was raised to speak 24/7. Always “yes sir, yes ma’am” from me. Sad to see that isn’t the norm nowadays. - to the point where it has to be pointed out and emphasized
@@astralenlightenment1743 Same here and I'm 66 and Proud of You my Friend . All the best sent your way .
His future is going to be bright but short if he doesn’t start being mindful of his health. That young man is 200lbs over weight, at least.
Great guitarist, but most of all an outstanding human being...much respect for him
1:20 I like how Pac is just there staring into your soul 😂😂
“man please let me out, I’ve been trapped in inside this dudes t shirt for years”
Lmfaoooo
I read this as it happened
making sure you know the vibe
I can tell Kingfish was raised old school. Great musician and a gentleman. I’m a fan that’s a wrap.
Chris's dad chilling out on his phone like he waiting for his son to finish karate.
This comment is underrated
this is a player that you should have let into the real high end vintage stuff, I want to hear him through a dream rig
For real though. Kingfish better than most of the A-list players on this show.
Any rig is a dream rig in the right hands.
PirateDynamics agreed.
@Captain Kirk you have got to be joking about the racism thing at Norman's.
Captain Kirk lol
That chord at 1:10 was totally unexpected and so awesome, really smooth R&B twist on a blues progression, reminds me of Time's A Wastin by Erykah Badu
Using different tones like BB
Its Emaj9
I've waited so long for the man himself! kingfish here baby!
waiting longer for Robert Cray and he lives in LA.
George Chapogas Yeah, I have a cd with him and Clapton, Raitt, and John Lee Hooker I believe.
Nice playing! Good luck.
George Chapogas he won’t go in there. Guaranteed.
This dude is awesome. Deserves every bit of success he gets and more.
Love this kid very talented
Kingfish is just a great player. I’ve seen him play and he’s just a fantastic guy. He maybe soft spoken but he could make any guitar sing with grace. Glad i started following him
Man! The sound he gets out of that Strat is out of this planet! Round and beefy yet subtle. Phenomenal player and so polite and humble. True inspiration
What a gifted, talented guitarist, I could listen to Kingfish for hours, plus he’s a humble, decent man.
I have worked as a patch guy in festivals and had the opportunity to work with this gentleman and he is respectful and in love with music. Wish him the best as well.
Bloody inspiration!

yeah man, this kid is so humble and polite accompanied by all that talent! he is truly a blessing.
Tupac lookin at me like, "You need to go practice."
Hahahah, This.
😂😂😂

🤣
He just did more with 25 seconds than I think I will do in my entire time of playing guitar. What an inspiration!
A very polite and great player. Kingfish is what's good about this world. Good luck in all you future endeavors young man.
Such a humble guy. We need more like this..a lot lot more
A humble and gentle giant in many ways. And still just a kid. God can you imagine him in 10 years? In 20?
He has such a "mature" sound for a young guy. He does not rush anything. Very smooth!
Exactly. His phrasing is very mature for a seemingly young person.
He's a savant.... Last time we heard this type of playing from a very young person was Joe Bonamassa
@@nethbt In my opinion Joe has a way more mechanical style. Kingfish's got more feel.
"yes sir" man raised right, whole lotta soul
Stunningly soulful! Truly felt every note he played. Not many guitar players play from the heart anymore, that was immense 🙏
That young man is a badass guitar player. It’s so nice to see young people who have manners.
Can’t disguise anything with that clean tone. Every note was pure
No doubt an old soul this fella. Respectful and humble
Thank God for Kingfish and other great young BLUES artists to Keep the BLUES Alive in our future, as our Legends dwindle, but will Always remain in our hearts and minds 💙. Amen!!!
Gina Friend there’s actually a ton of young blues artists. I suggest looking up Jesper monk. A few good song of his is tree of time, timeless throne, and I love you.
@@jill9356 as I mentioned above
I expected more.... video is too short!!!!!! I want more of KINGFISH!!! 👑🐟
👑🐟
Seantube123 yea why so short?! Others who suck get a half hour. This was about 1 minute long of him playing. Why?????!!!!
"That's all I got for today."
He was cool with making an appearance but if you or Norm want more... you gotta pay for it.
Seantube123 you've been hook-up lined-and sinkered like a fish...by The Kingfish!
Astro Venus Lol hell yeah!!!!
This guy is from my city. Absolutely amazing guitar player AND singer. Watched him perform live downtown for a free festival and have been watching him ever since.
*..N'If?* everyone was as ruDish, rOBISH and soStupidos as trumpieTrumpy, this world would be *NOT* more any'gREAT'. Dont'yo.. Think!
Saw him in Harrisburg, PA earlier this year back in February. I got to meet him at the end of the show and got his signature. My jaw was dropped the whole night and so was my buddy’s. Class act! So stoked to see more of Kingfish in the near future.
Very humble and respectful guy. We need more like him. Wonderful playing
This guy is a phenomenal person, a great black male role model and no ego despite his insane talent.
Dude is so polite and so good. You can't help but love him.
So amazing to hear such beautiful sound from an instrument that is so exacting.
This dude is an absolute treasure! And he was in his TEENS here! 👏
Ok...not only does he seem like one hell of a great guitar player, he was also instantly likable.
He`s such a beautiful p[layer,so soulful with a touch of funk.
So good.... fantastic...but most importantly very humble...
I was blown away by this young man the first time I saw him play. Too bad they didn't have a longer video of him really going to town on that strat.
He’s so humble and so freakin talented! He deserves to go far ✌️
Blessed to catch him in dallas last nov, amazing and humble man and showman. Played straight thru a long, cold outdoor nighttime show, even soloing so his band could take breaks, which he didn't. I remember him saying " no one told me tonight was outdoors, well we're going to make it through together" Godspeed Kingfish, safe journeys
Damn you kingfish even after a 13 hour shift you made me pick up my guitar and play !!!! #respect
This is the best vid in a while keep it up
Made that Strat sound sooo freakin' sweet!
And he made that amp sing too :)
My dad used to play like that and I totally took it for granted while he was alive.
At least you got the chance to witness it first hand & that you’re able to recognize it! Respect ✊🏽
Been following this kid for years and I absolutely LOVE to watch him play :)
soul coming out his fingers, warmth from his heart and he's wearing Pac...sometimes the universe gets it right
Such polite young man... Great guitar player and a true gentleman
Been following this guy since I saw a video when he was 13, now he is at Fender recording at studio, its incredible
One of the best guitarists I've heard in the past 20 years. Pure soul!
Jeez. King Fish is SO humble and endearing. He was sooo polite to the Norm employee. Mr. Ingram is #1 in my book!!!
Such a light sweet touch, the phrasing and vibrato amazing for a young man. Continued success!
I like his vibe here, “Hey that’s all I’m gonna do. If you want to see me tear ass then come to a show.” 😂🎸
“I don’t freestyle cos my style ain’t free”
Young, super talented and humble. He's future's really bright.
Agreed except unfortunately he will be dead at a very young age.
What a lovely young fella. He will go far he's so polite and humble, gotta like him
Kingfish is the man. Good to see such a solid blues player, as young as he is
What a great player and humble man.
Saw this kid live when he was only 16. His skill on the guitar, and his voice, just unbelievable! So much talent in him. Can’t wait to see what his future brings
I’ve never even heard of this dude before now but people with humility are so endearing to me, idek what he plays but goddamn now I want to
He's played at the Eric Clapton crossroads guitar festival a few times,he's really good
I almost cried. If had played longer I would have. What a sound!
Love me some Kingfish. Very nice guy. Great guitar player...Wish him nothing but the best for his life and musical career
Great player great guy ! Wishing all the best for this kid ! He will carry on the torch
What a well mannered gentleman right there. I hope he goes really really well, to the top. Salute!
I love Kingfish! I have to see him in concert!
What a great player, and so polite and respectful.
God Bless him
This guy just breathes soul. Great talent.
“That’s all I have”
Dude has a lot more. Love this guy !
Very humble young man keep rocking
Man I'd love to kick back and listen to him jam away. Love it.
This guy is the epitome of blues tone. Fantastic sound, wonderful vibrato, subtle articulation. This young man is "ganz weit vorne" as we say in Germany.
The TONE
THE TOOOOONE
Good God what a time to be alive. My ears thank you for your service.
Amazing kid and amazing guitarist! God bless great young man
What a wonderful polite young man!!🤗
*..N'If?* everyone was as ruDish, rOBISH and soStupidos as trumpieTrumpy, this world would be *NOT* more any'gREAT'. Dont'yo.. Think!
Well, he doesn't really look much like a fish, but he sure as hell plays and acts like a king! 👑🤴🏿
What a polite young Gentleman.
Manners maketh Man.
Priceless.
We need more people like you in the world. Kind and skilled at the sametime. My respect
Any one who disliked this hasn't searched him on here, he is a legendary style guitarist!
One of the nicest guys in music !!!
He is an absolute “GREAT GUITARIST” !!!!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
So amazingly fresh to hear a great guitar player have such good manners when addressing an elder! Really shows a great upbringing. Hats off to his parents!!!
Kingfish is the greatest. Phenomenal talent and such modesty and politeness
The four Kings Of Blues Albert, B.B, Freddie and Kingfish
I ask all who say that does Earl king not count?respect
Josh Elliott - Marcus
@@snuffygrunt2842 Marcus is the real we can add Guy as well MARCUS KING THE REAL
You should check out a Scots blues guitar player called Lewis Hamilton
Muddy, Buddy and Stevie too.
This dude knows how to make a Strat sound like a Strat haha.
and I thought my fat fingers were preventing me from playing. I think Ill have another go at learning guitar..
I felt the same way
No way look at srv fat fingers
Jumbo frets
I hope Mr. Ingram grants us the privilege of hearing his guitar playing for the next 50 years. He already has the soul of any player from the past.
I love this kid! Incredible talent, humble and gifted! I suppoort you all the way KINGFISH!
1:25 the face in his shirt had me dying😂😂
I Really love his playing.
Great player would love to see him play in Scotland make it happen big man
world tour please
That strat looks so beautiful
I don't know why, but that looks insanely beautiful
Very humble man wish kingfish much success I look up to guitar players like this man so kind and being that good
In no way am I making a derogatory statement about his weight. But I hope he looks to possibly pay attention to his health. Nice respectful young man and a talent to give to the world. Would be tragic if he left the world at such an early age.
I was watching a performance by him and thinking, "That man is an old soul." Then I read a comment that pointed out he was 20, and I felt bad because I would like to seem him get to be a much older soul. He's already such an amazing player that I hope the finish line is far, far in his future so we can see just what all he is capable of attaining.
He's been trying to lose weight for years and mentions it on his Facebook page so he's aware of it. And yes...we want this guy around for a long time...he's an amazing guitar and a lovely human being. So many people mention his weight but in a 'kind way' we care for the guy - luckily he's trying his best... No fat shaming around here...just caring for talent and a wonderful person.
He does, check his Instagram
He has lost weight and is in the process of losing more.
can’t we just comment somethings else instead of bringing up his weight .. this video was about a guitar .
Silky smooth licks,go forth and chase the fire my friend!
He should tour with Kenny Wayne Shepard, that would be awesome to see
Omg that would be epic
He would blow anyone off the stage besides say Joe Bonamassa or Eric Gales.
What a polite and genuine person Mr Ingram is.
What an inspiring young gentlemen!
