Guitarist Hide and their former bass player Taiji Sawada both committed suicide. Check out Taiji Sawada in Loudness. Songs like Firestorm, Slaughterhouse and Crazy Doctor. The live versions from 1994 are phenomenal. Back when Masaki Yamada (EZO) did the lead vocals. The phenomenal Akira Takasaki on lead guitar and the late drummer Munetaka Higuchi RIP. Especially the guitar on Firestorm live are wild

Hide was probably pretty depressed after the end of X . . . it wouldn't be surprising if he took his life . . .
and Taiji's life went very downhill after being fired from X . . .
