Andy truly loved victoria. Andy was so young and super talented. He sang many duets with female artists. Its sad that depression and drugs would take him so soon. He will be alive always in our hearts. Rest in peace andy.

It was beautiful, but drugs or no drugs, it wouldn’t have lasted. There are too many temptations in that industry - they both would have ended up cheating.

That was the happiest I ever saw Andy !!! He always had a sadness in his eyes after Victoria left him because of his addiction. It broke his heart and he was never the same. ☹️

I wish that he would have given up on drugs. I'm sure that we all wish that he was still alive. I was a teenager when he started singing I never had a TV because my dad wouldn't allow one in our home. But I listened to it Rock station and heard him oh did I ever fail in love with him.
So respectful in everything. Just natural beauty, no need to show body parts or moving as a crazy.
If you have talent you don't need to show body parts!

I dont think andy ever got over his break up with victoria. He loved her deeply. They blend beautifully together. Andy will be forever young talented and beautiful.

He didn’t choose drugs over her. Addiction isn’t something you choose. Sadly he had beaten the drugs but his heart gave out due to a virus and the weakening of his heart from the drug use.
I grew up near Beverly Hills and remember seeing Andy and Victoria in a market.. this was back in the early 80’s

@Jimmy911ism I remember her from Dallas, she was Bobby Ewings wife. Her brother was JR's enemy. I didn't see the other programmes as I used to work night shift in Amazon
@@Jimmy911ism None of those. Outside of movies, tv movies and very brief guest roles in a number of TV shows Dallas was her longest run on TV. The other "long" TV show was the shortlived "Titans" in 2000-2001 which only ran for 14 episodes.
Their love shines bright as they sing this beautiful song holding hands. It’s heartbreaking that the love and Andy’s life was shattered by his drug use. I wish things had stayed like this- but it’s a dream that turned into a nightmare.

He did love Victoria Very much . we'll never know what really caused their break-up I know he was dealing with substance abuse & But Victoria 's the one who's going to have to live with it for the rest of her life
You are forgetting they are both performers. Who knows what they were thinking at that moment? In fact, he refers to her as “a special friend” and when she arrives she doesn’t give or offer a kiss. Strange behavior if they were both deeply in love at that point.

What makes this song more deeper is that he was either in love with her or just dazzled, but she wasn't as much into it as he was. And the drugs created an abyss that he couldn't cross, only to sink deeper and deeper. The Gibb family didn't have that much affection for Victoria, especially Barry who was very protective of his younger brother... She seemed to make a fool of Andy and it didn't help that she went on to date a guy he introduced her to. A beautiful couple, but it wasn't meant to be. Tragic.
