Great video and great explanation. I’m installing the same system in my Gladiator next week, except I bought the high kit that sits a little taller. This video was exactly what I was looking for! Cheers!

I thought about doing the high kit. Let me know what you think of it after you have installed it. I have a Goal Zero Yeti 500x that fits under the standard Goose Gear platform, but would be nice to have the high kit for deeper storage.

With the high kit, do you loose access to the storage portion on the 40% that is at the bottom, behind the seat? Thanks for the help

That looks beautiful! I’m in the process of selling my beautiful JKU! It’s decked out and I love it but I full time rv. It’s time for a gladiator and a decent size camper. But my gsd loves to look out the side windows but his nails kill seats. I was wondering how to cover the leather seats and saw this. Holy crap! I just wonder how dogs would do on the high version but there’s so much room for him to chill. And so much space for me to store my gear. I can’t wait to get my gladiator!!!!
How do the dogs do? They’re not sliding around like crazy?! It’s too damn pretty to put a mat or towel over it.. I just hope the dogs get some friction.

Thank you! It is a little slick for the dogs, but its easy to put a mat down so they are comfortable and it protects the finish of the Goose Gear. I can keep my fridge in the back seat on one side and still have plenty of room for a dog or 2 on the other.

@@2ndChanceOverlandthanks!!! I sold my wrangler and just got a white rubicon like yours. I actually travel full time so I have no place to store the leather seats. I’m gonna sell them for $700. Already have a buyer. Hope I don’t regret it. Think I will?

I kept my rear seat but have not had a reason to swap it back in at all. I don't think you will regret selling yours.

@@2ndChanceOverlandhey brother! I forgot to ask you. Is that the short or tall version? I get mine in a week and it’s the short. I was debating. Enough storage room with the short and how’s the window view with a gsd standing up. Like.. can he still stick his head out with the short version? Thanks

Nice video. Does it affect front seat travel on either side?

It does not seem to affect front seat travel that I have noticed.

great video. What is the light bar in front of your winch? Thanks!

That is the KC Flex Array 10" light bar that is currently out of production. I was lucky to find a display model for our 392, but from what I have been told KC should be coming out with their new version of this light soon.

They certainly can be. I had a couple of bolts that were more difficult than others, but overall mine were not that bad to remove.
