Awesome. I'd do a hundred percent delete and floor. I have big dogs and the back seat on them was my big deterrent to getting one... Now that they are practically giving 23's away, I've changed my mind.

Bad ass… I have 74,000 miles and no regrets… Also have big dogs and we manage, but 100% delete would be ideal… I have the plans for 100% delete as well if you would like them, shoot me an email at JKHARTEL3@gmail.com

I’ve been researching this project for months. Best video I’ve seen so far! Super thorough. I’ve got two German shepherds and wanting to do a full delete and this is a great start. I’m definitely going to be referencing back to this when I get ready to do mine!

I built one about a year ish agao. I have shepherds that go on my trail. First i added soundenter to the actual jeep . It also blocks extra heat. I took the carpet out, added product specific to jeeps that covers the floor and is rubber ish. easier to clean. I also added 4 inch foam and covered the wood up with a easy to clean material. Plus if you remove that plastic back part, you gain a lot more room. I have the speaker box too. I just made a section where it fits. I just built a wall mimicking the floor. plus I added stairs to so as my dogs age, its easier for them to get up and down. I also added to fans to help keep them cooler. . But you are rt about the whole in the middle. I opted out for the same reason. Makes it weak.

If you want to go extreme budget, go to either Home Depot or Lowes and ask them for an appliance box they’re throwing out (free template material) then, go to your local jeep dealer and ask if they have any mopar lift crates for the wood.
