My helix was working perfectly fine until I did an update few months ago. Now it is unable to detect the device both in the updater and edit. USB port seems to be working fine. Bought a new usb cable but still did'nt work. Reinstalled both the updater and edit still didn't work. Love how sonically good helix but this technical problems with line 6 makes it a horrible experience for its customer!
I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Helix! Around the 3.0 firmware update, the entire Helix framework was redesigned in order to have the entire line of the HX products co-exist better and more easily transfer things such as presets and settings, so this in turn did change the update process from what was previously done. This is why they always strongly suggest doing a global backup before performing any sort update process. I suggest opening up a ticket with a Line 6 representative to see if they can further help you with this issue before having to resort to a factory reset over at line6.com/support/. I'm having an issue, when I sign into helix updater I don't see my device
Hmmm, that's weird. Make sure that your cable is functioning properly and that you're not plugged into a usb hub.

Hi , i've downloaded the latest version of driver , firmware , updater and editor , but when i open the updater or the editor all the screen is black and it's like the program doesn't communicate with the helix , and i don't now how to solve this issue. Do you have some suggests about it? Thanks
Hmm, have you tired using a different USB cable or are you plugged into a USB hub at all?
my friend have a line6 pod 500 ,is he still can send me a patch any line6 device or have to be same model pedal board ?
