- A few months back, while my thumb and brain had disengaged and undertook the scroll of doom on Instagram, an orange, blue, and white bike caught my eye-a lovely-looking Colnago Dream Lux, all decked out in team Rabobank lively and renovated to glistening newness. And it just happened to belong to a certain Mr Sutherland.

Beautiful bike, and a great interview. You should talk to more ex pros about their favorite bikes, and what they're up to now.
That's the plan! I want to rummage in a few garages. - Dave
Brilliant @@VeloVeloVeloTV
Two bike legends talking about legendary bikes. What a treat!
Cheers, Rory is an absolute legend - Dave
Relaxed, informative and classy video. It's not all about speed - my favourite bike from my 10 bike garage is a rim braked Condor steel bike kitted out with Dura Ace 9100 mechanical..........buttery smooth and not too weighty either.
wow.....nice bike colnago Dream i still think the model bike just as that good looking. And i keep 2 of my steel bike Casati & PEGORETTI they are lovely.
I took a picture of that bike in the castelli store - it's beautiful.
It's lovely, ain't it. They have a few nice ones in there - Dave
Yes, I saw Nathan Haas Bike too.@@VeloVeloVeloTV
Nice. Need to rotate the chainring on the crank though😂
I've had two of these. Hands down the best frame ever!!!!
great stuff!
Used to have one of these in black with the mavic ksyrium ssc sl wheels. Really wish I’d kept it as it was fantastic.
The bike is very nice. Make sure to just ride it.
Agree 100% - Dave
Enjoyed that - thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it I'm hoping to hunt down more pro refurb bikes - Dave
@@VeloVeloVeloTV Great. Us plebs spend hours lusting over pro bikes. Yet it seems that most pros just see their various bikes as tools.
thank you both of you!!!
Great interview Dave 👍
Tell him to try Pegoretti's bike and paint.
Supercool!
Ps, your chainring is not correctly mounted - the protrusion is meant to go at the crank to prevent chain drop between chainring and crankarm :)
With ur access to some pros you should do more this kind of content dave!
That's the plan. I want to see inside some of their garages and sheds. - Dave
Hahah, too funny. Rory says he's not a tech guy and then you show the big chainring lined up in the wrong orientation. Rory, move that peg on the big ring behind the crank arm.
Where's his team mechanic? - Dave
@@VeloVeloVeloTV When I'm over there, I'll have to bring a 5mm and move it for him.
perfect
It's a lovely machine - Dave
Great to see experienced cyclists getting fed up with the new over-priced trash and doing retro bike dream-builds.
yeah I would love to have a V4RS like Pogi ride. I love the older bikes too but they unfortunately aren't fun to ride in Kansas with our wind. I say that but I am still riding the Rabobank TCR bike from 2014 and now that I have crashed it racing once and it survived by sheer luck, I need a different training/group ride bike. My friend on his SL7 is so fast 😂
Get saving. I loved the old paint scheme on the Rabo TCR - Dave
For the price we pay for bikes now, it angers me that they all have the same, boring, monochromatic paint jobs.
