I second these two and CHG are my hero’s I so love there video technique and Kris and Andrew have the best music. There’s no silly drama it’s all about the subject
Ok I’ve officially binge watched all of your videos since discovering your channel 2 weeks ago. Yours is the type of channel where I can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers, the videos are so well made and you guys are just so funny, plus there’s the delightful miss Matilda.
I love when my FYP actually suggests new (for me) and great content like yours! I’ve automatically taken a liking to you both and especially Matilda. I’m about to binge your channel! Cheers to you
Kris, I was a huge fan of your illustration blog FOREVER ago. I came across your videos when searching for narrowboat info and was so happy to see your content pop up on another corner of the internet! Thanks for continuing to share your days and creativity with us. 🦆🚤
I have watched all of your vlogs and I must give you one of the highest compliments for your professionalism and Your excellent presentation and editing skills they excel at every level, and I love your dry humour! Thank you so much, I so look forward to your next production.
I've mentioned it previously, but I am an incredibly envious of your wonderful lifestyle and outlook. You two are truly amazing and fortunate to have each other. Please continue sharing your wonderful adventures with us!
i've recently found your channel and have been watching all your narrow boating videos - i absolutely love your filmmaking thank you so much for sharing!🖤🖤🖤
I discovered you two a couple of months ago - Your videos absolutely make my day and I love watching them to wind down at night! They are just so beautiful and relaxing and I love your creativity and artistry. You always make me chuckle too🧡 much love xox
I also have just this minute completed binge watching the entire channel. What has impressed, is that the quality level has never wavered. Well done you! It's 3.40 am 💤
I'm still drooling over the fish 'n chips, thanks for sharing, ha! Can't wait for the haul from Branston Bakes, another chance to drool. Great vid as always, keep em coming!
Your perspective of narrowboat life offers me a welcome opportunity to vicariously live a completely different lifestyle to my own. I spend the summer months working from my home in Utah's Wasatch Mountains and the winter months in Baja California Sur glamping on our own little piece of a tropical oasis. I'm very lucky to live surrounded by the beauty of both locations, but your wonderfully wet, foggy, climate is so appealing compared to this very dry and drought-prone one I live in. Your excellent content should build a very large following; my fingers are crossed it will!
That was wild seeing the little Rugby Boat dog. I follow their channel to check out boats and prices. He's always in their videos. Your videos are always shot so well. Cheers.
Beautiful frost vibe ❄and stunning cinematography It looks like it was worth getting up early for ...even just occasionally ...even if all the other plans melted away ...like the ice Many moons ago, when I was I London, I used to go to Turnham Green chippy, where they fried them in groundnut oil, I think it was. The type of oil makes all the difference.
Kris. It can be said that you are manning the helm or helming. You are officially a helmswoman or maybe helmsperson. Missed your videos and that wicked sense of humor.
Great to see you both :) I love what you’re doing with the boat shop-it looks better than ever! I’m excited to see what else you improve before we return.
I appreciate you being the only boaters on youtube (as far as I can tell) to take coffee seriously, including having an espresso machine and grinder. I've often wondered if one of those pulls too much electricity for a boat but clearly it's fine. Also, that morning light is spectacular.
Yes the power draw is not too bad, a brief high spike while it warms up but nothing our inverter can’t handle thank god. Good coffee is a must have, we’d fall apart without it haha
@@krisatomic Don't I know it! I went deep down the coffee rabbit hole during the pandemic and would definitely need my gear on a boat. Still dreaming about a narrowboat one day, but maybe I need to try a boating vacation first.
Beautiful gorgeous photography,,enchanting...and love your humour, plus practical and hardcore,,very stylish...AND a cat!!! Purrrfect....❤❤ Watching from the foothills of Sierra Nevada,Andalucia
Friday evening here, it's been a cold rain all day, just like yours; though we have our wood stove going so our house is warm. I went our and walked around our house and barns, checking that our gutters are draining . They were full of leaves last week. - it's nice to be outside. We envy you your fish & chips, which is not common in western NY. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along on your canal journey. Your boat looks really nice & cozy. - Don, from a little town on the Erie Canal.
Loved watching this morning. The calmness has eased me into my working day, thank you! Also, Matilda whilst you were sorting the chips was just another worldly.
Welcome back you have been missed. The morning light was amazing. Great video and stills. Both of you need to be sponsored by parka companies. Andrew standing at the tiller was definitely a great ad, and Kris you always rock an outfit! So many beautiful and funny moments. You two together are such a great balance. Does Andrew have any idea how funny he is ….In a good way of course. Kris talking and working the tiller and Andrew staring at the camera.😂. Sorry you missed the Chinese and the pizza. Hopefully you made it to the Braunston Bakes, though I don’t know if it is a bakery or a special event. Great to see you both and Matilda definitely hammed up her screen time with her kneading, and paw touches. LOVED IT!!! 🤗❤️ Kathy
Another brilliant video of narrowboat life ❤️guys I am at home recovering from knee replacement op , watching your videos cheer me up scenery always stunning watching from Edinburgh
Currently Errol my cat is watching a sad old man playing Jenga with fish fingers in an effort to defrost them as the chippy is over a mile away 😂Thanks for a nature inspired video it was good to see Rugby boats again ,hired our boat from there in 1975 and did the South Oxford.
Just come across this. What beautiful videography and pics. I’ve subscribed so I won’t miss any more of these and I will now binge view your older videos. Thanks for sharing.
Another great video. I -- for one -- like cloudy, overcast rainy, damp weather. Plus the beautiful country side the you showcase so well. Your videos never disappoint. Excellent photography and editing. Brilliant job --- Again.
Brings back memories of our 65 ft boat on the Shroppy, Llangollen, T and M and Leeds Liverpool and, of course the Cheshire Ring. Moored in Manchester and at Preston Brook on the Bridgwater. Went down to London and back, and Birmingham a few times.
Such wonderful details in nature, the boats you pass, the ducks, well everything. So nice and calm. And also your choise of underlaying music. And wonderfull editing. 🙏❤️🙂
Braunston 10/10 for Christmas spirit. We’ve only ever moored during summer. Braunston bakes so jealous, makes me wonder if you are in Braunston this Christmas period. Either way have a very Merry Christmas. This wonderful cozy vlog has really put me in the festive mood, time for some mulled wine ❤
You sold me on the fish and chips, I brought the best pie in the butchers and braunston, I still think about that pie from time to time. My second cruise was through braunston tunnel, I’m hoping to get back there in a few months.
This video is stunning the scenery is just amazing , love the winter ❄️ shots of the canal and boats just beautiful …. Matilda is just adorable ….. look forward to the next one when you get to braunsten ……💕📖💕
Your Boat Cat seems right at home. I think by what I have observed on the UK Canalboats the Cats are far happier on board than the dogs. I think they realize their staff is more at hand on board than in a conventional Land based home. Ha Ha
Greetings from Finland! I have been binge watching your videos for few days, and i find them absolutely beautiful and well-produced and filmed. The scenery you are painting is breathtaking. My new favourite! P.S. Also my secret wish to buy a boat and sail through the canals of England, moore somewhere i have never even heard of and get stucked in the ice for a few weeks. ❤
Thank you so much for shearing your boating life with us. People like you two are an inspiration. i retire this year and am selling up and going on the waterways for a few years. ps love your cat.
Try any of this where we live in winter -40C It will not happen. My Daughter in London is still amazed how warm the winters are in the UK. Enjoy you life aboard, I am envious
Just started following you after you popped up on the algorithm and love your films - I like the pace and how you show the landscape. We live in London but have a 56ft boat which is usually moored at just off the canal (Home Farm just below the seven locks from Stoke Bruerne) It was so really lovely to watch your journey along our beautiful stretch of canal which has some of the best views on the Grand Union (I’m not biased at all!) I’ll continue to follow you and see where you are travelling now. Our boat is currently in dry dock being given a much needed renovation and after watching this film I am no so looking forward to getting her back on water in the spring: she’s called Sweet Betty.
Oh that's a lovely place for a mooring. And I must agree, that IS a particularly beautiful part of the GU! Hopefully see you out there in Spring, give us a wave!
I'm admittedly not a fan of winter, but so far these winter vlogs have me looking forward to pulling on some wool socks and getting out there to embrace it this year (instead of my usual coping method of hiding under a pile of blankets and wishing for spring 😂)
You should be very proud of the body of work you’ve created, the effort you put into editing is very much appreciated.
... beautifully slow en bateau , so cool to watch your experiences .
Merci

Matilda completely stole the show in this vlog! She's adorable!
The standard just keeps getting better! Astonishing, given they started from such a high level. It proves the saying "Quality before Quantity".
