That was really fun to watch! I can still remember my first track day and wish I had video of it now. Oh well. Passing some nice hardware on that track day too! Nice work. You could see how you would "learn" a corner or two during those seven laps. I felt bad for your tires though, they were screaming, I've never had good luck with Bridgestones...
Thanks! Yes, those tires were awful! Riding along with others in similar cars with better tires was eye-opening. I'm definitely going to switch. Thanks for watching!
what generation? i was there in August for a turn 8 event. i have a b8.5 s4, manual with a bunch of similar mods. you ever drive the 1 down to lucia? or local? been looking for a early morning driving buddy. 🍻
I agree. I think I more time on the track, better brake fluid, and better brakes would help. Being that it was my first time there, I was just getting the hang of things.
@@midlifemods tires and brakes are secondary. You need to use the whole track and then some, tires in the dirt almost except for T9. 500 hp should be high 1:30s max @ 8/10.

Love that track, looked like a blast!!!
It is amazing! Although I needed better tires. Kind of felt like I was drifting around the corners. 😄 beautiful track. Thanks for watching!

B9.5. I live in Ventura County and drove about 6 hours up for this day. Definitely worth the drive, but not local.
Me: "Wow! It seems like he's going over 200 mph!" *forgets playback speed is on 2x*
🤣 if only... I'd need much better brakes and tires. 😄
You have 5 seconds more of gain if you clean up your line
