50$ a night for that gorgeous hotel space? You can’t but that. Willie, you’re great! I always like your videos and by the way, congratulations on one of your videos getting one million viewers. God has blessed you with a wonderful voice. I ❤️ you!!!
My bro, the prices are high because pretty much everything is imported from brazil or europe, making the cost increase to just break even let alone make a profit. This also compromises the quality of meat and produce. There's not much they can really do in that regard as the clinate isn't ideal for farming. Nonetheless i love the island of Sal, its simplicity makes it a worthy visit which i recommend to everybody.
Hi Willie, awesome video. Sorry about the sea sickness! I am heading there with my friends next month and saw this disturbing news that almost 1000 folks got food poisoning while visiting the island of Sal over the past 3 years. This article just came out of nowhere! Did you experience stomach issues while traveling to Sal? :)
I've heard about that too. But no, I didn't experience any food issues in the country. But the water can be quite bad, even at major hotels. Like I wouldn't even brush my teeth with it.
Food poisening or just diarhea´(?) is very common when you travel to a tropical place which has germs you don´t have at home. Always take Loperamide with you wherever you go (or buy it in the local farmacy). Of course you can´t drink the water (it´s desalinated seawater, there´s no natural sweet water on Sal), even for brushing your teeth you should use bottled water (which comes from an other island).
MINDELO .. SAO VINCENTE .. IS MY FAVOURITE ISLAND 🏝 IN THE CAPE VERDEAN ARCHIPELAGO .

Only the women with the strongest curves survive in Capo Verde and Sal.
it seems to be an awful far an uncomfortable place , why to go there ?
It has beautiful beaches. Where are you from?
@@CandyScent-r2p italy ...
Too expensive go to Thailand instead
just go to any other island
Sal is ur usual tourist trap destination, the prices are always higher than the actual prices practiced nationwide
@@FlanPoirotNowhere in Cape Verde can compare to the low prices in Thailand.
