I love your videos. I've wanted to make a bracelet for ages and decided to make this one. Then in the video you said it wasn't for beginners - but your instructions are so clear that I jumped in. I did it! And I love it. Thanks so much.
As a complete beginners I thought that this wouldn't be hard, turns out, it was! After about four hours I finally got thr loop done, but I found as I kept going it got easier and easier! I learnt about four different knot types, triangle starts and finishes, and how to make loops! This was definitely an amazing tutorial to be able to go back through and figure out what I was doing! I'm so glad you clearly explained, and demonstrated how to do each section, since I still have no clue out to read a pattern! You've done such a good job!
I've been dying for this tutorial! perfect for the 2 color challenge. I have a question for anyone who may see this, or Masha, but how long do you cut the strings. I seem to always end up cutting mine to short!
I have made this pattern so many times And each time I wan scream because I hate row by rows knotting but it’s the only way I know how to make this pattern and I wished it was segment knotted so thank you to Masha knots for showing us how to do it
The bracelet is 12 strings total so six strings of each color cut three strings of each color if your gonna make a loop like the video the loop string should be longer than all of your other strings
@@catdancer223i did it with 6 colored strings and 5 white strings and it worked perfectly fine😊 there is only one part that might be tricky to understand with it but other than that i works totally well.
Masha thank u so much for ur channel I am so lucky I found it I always have ur videos on in the background playing while I make bracelets and I love ur editing it is so good and seamless thank u for inspiring me
If you get all the knots down that you have to know as a beginner this bracelet isn't really that hard I used to make bracelets in high school I'm 27 now and I'm just now picking it back up and honestly I feel like a beginner again and this bracelet has remind me how tedious this hobby can be and I love it
I love them btw what are the numbers for the Gamma threads And do you have any tips or suggestions on where to buy them online? Or where should I go When I’m in the Uk ? Can’t seem to find them
I don’t remember the numbers, sorry! It’s also not a UK brand, I buy these in Russia just because it comes out cheaper. There’s no reason to use the specific brand I use though, any embroidery floss is good! There is no “best brand” really
I found this tutorial hard to understand because the triangle start was sped through and i had no idea how to do it. it’s frustrating when people assume others know how to do the first part all the time!
This is probably super annoying because im a beginner but the beginning, with the starting triangle, was fast forwarded to the point where i have no clue what you did. If doing forward knots for the left side and backward knots for the right side, isn't that the method for a chevron bracelet? How did they end up facing outwards? Its only the first part of the tutorial and im already confused 😕
Love the idea. But I feel like simple things aren't explained. For example it wasn't mentioned how many strands you need to make this bracelet. I'm totally clueless
There's a link to the pattern in the description which says you need 12 strands. Someone in the comments recommended 43inches per strand. Hope this helps
From what I've seen after counting multiple times after multiple pauses, 6 strings for the color 6 strings for the background color. If you are doing the loop you cut 3 each and fold in half. You then start with 12 strings both ways. Hope this helps 🖤
the beginning is really confusing for me because i didnt use the triangle start so i feel like i dont know where to start the pattern😭 ive watched multiple videos for the greek wave and i cant seem to do it, can someone help me 🙏🙏
for this patter to make a 6 inches bracelet use 6 string each 72 inches ( like: 3 White, 3 blue ) , make the one you want to make the loop with 4 inches longer than the others
There's a written pattern link in the description which says 12 strands . The length depends on the wrist size. For example if it's for a child you'd need far less than if it were for an adult. I think you might have to just play around with it
I know I just can’t follow along with this girls videos like I can others…. I have no idea how to start this bracelet with the loop, how many strings or how long, etc… as well as how to finish it ugh:(
This is my first time to watch this type of craft. I do not know how to do a forward or backward knot. Being from the south, she talks a little fast for me. I do like the pattern.
I love the bracelets so much, but I found this tutorial to be not very effective qnd irritating. For one, this person didn't specify the amount of strings you need of each color, nor the length. So I ended up spending 10 minutes trying to find a tutorial that DID. They didn't even put it in the description. I love your tutorials, Masha, but please next time do better.
This isn’t a beginner bracelet. If your starting off I’d do the heart and chevron the og wave and the candy stripe. You also don’t have to do the triangle start or the teardrop loop. I’ve been doing this for five plus years and have learned that doing the loops makes it easier for your string
lol i kept waiting for u to say how many strings and how long each one should be 😭i can literally never eyeball it i always use the measurements someone else gives for a bracelet if i can find them 🥲

Been making paracord bracelets for years so the square knot made me happy squeal, was sitting here like 'I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT'
I do macrame and I genuinely had the same reaction 😅 I was like ooohhh I know that one I know that one!
Oh my god Masha, you have a lot of ambition to finish eight bracelets!❤
Haha thank you, I am never doing that again so enjoy while it lasts 😂😂

How many strings of each color? What length are the strings for each color
I’m wondering the same thing
6 strings of your first color 5 of your second color
A little more than your arm wingspan
@Snoopy0142 thank you for your reply. It's actually 6 strings of each color
The bracelet is 12 strings total so six strings of each color cut three strings of each color if your gonna make a loop like the video the loop string should be longer than all of your other strings

As well as being good and thorough, you have wonderful nails😛,I'm learning a lot from you
I luv this step by step tutorial and watching you do all of your knots. It helps a lot when learning patterns. Thank you 🫶🏽🥰💙💜
Thanks for the awesome tutorial!! I can't wait to try more of them :D I was wondering what kind of thread you are using ?

Great video. But if anyone is windering what amount of string to use I would recommend 43in for each string. Have fun😉
thank you so much for this tutorial :) it is very helpful and way less confusing than other greek wave tutorials
just in time I was just about to start one! Thank you for the tutorial
Perfect timing!!
I'm gonna have to use that square knot from now on!!
Omg thank you!! I've been doing alpha patterns for a very long time and I forgot how to do this type💖💖
How long do you make the strings? 😁
3 strings of each color about 80 in. long, and when folded in half they should be about 40 in. long
Oh wow, I wouldn’t expect you to make 8 for a greek wave tutorial
I don’t know what came over me to be honest haha
I found this tutorial hard to understand because the triangle start was sped through and i had no idea how to do it. it’s frustrating when people assume others know how to do the first part all the time!
Sorry you found it frustrating! There’s a separate triangle ends tutorial linked in the description to save time!
Woooo!! Another tutorial❤️❤️
Yess!!
Your designs are amazing! Can you do the pattern #142282?
My fav pattern, so I had to give it a like! Keep up the good work, we appreciate you!
Thank you for the great tutorials ❤❤❤❤
Omg I love your nails!!! 😱 😻
i was waiting for this one!!!!
Yess!!
How many waves did u do
5:25 is when pattern repeats!
your a great teacher
i love this tutorial!
Ahhh I was right there pastel and lovey so cute

My triangle ends tutorial explains this in detail! It’s linked in the description
can you do a tutorial on the 11 string version....?
Спасибо! Очень интересное начало фенечки! Попробую так сплести!
Is there a place where I can get the pattern to print out? I like having the pattern in paper form next too me? Tia

So um just getting into braclets but i made some i might try this
Definitely would recommend an easier one to start! But perhaps a few bracelets in this could be good :)
@@MashaKnots I have made a few im comfortable with my knots and I did a chevron too
I have a question, but it has nothing to do with this video.
What is a 1212 pattern? Do you know an example?
How many strings do you start with?
From what I've seen after counting multiple times after multiple pauses, 6 strings for the color 6 strings for the background color. If you are doing the loop you cut 3 each and fold in half. You then start with 12 strings both ways. Hope this helps 🖤
12. So 6 halved.
3 od each and fold
Sorry how much should I cut my springs ? And how long??
the beginning is really confusing for me because i didnt use the triangle start so i feel like i dont know where to start the pattern😭 ive watched multiple videos for the greek wave and i cant seem to do it, can someone help me 🙏🙏
POV me watching this a million times cuz I have such a bad memory 😅
And I can’t read patterns 🤭
I need to know the amount of strings and the lengths lol
Try 50 or 45 cm , it's based of your pattern
for this patter to make a 6 inches bracelet use 6 string each 72 inches ( like: 3 White, 3 blue ) , make the one you want to make the loop with 4 inches longer than the others
could you write how many strings are needed and the lenght?
There's a written pattern link in the description which says 12 strands . The length depends on the wrist size. For example if it's for a child you'd need far less than if it were for an adult. I think you might have to just play around with it
What threads are you using ?
How to tie bracelet with that ring on beginning? Can it be adjustable?
She explains in the beginning very briefly how it's created, and it seems you just do extra knots if you want the loop,or ring as you put it, larger.
@@leannegibbs1064 ohh thank u i didnt catch that
Girl how do you finish the bracelet and actually MAKE it a bracelet?
How many waves do you do

❤❤❤❤❤
What is the # of this pattern?
genuinely can not figure out how to repeat the pattern
I am sorry but there is no proper info on size & number of the strings
How many strings were used?
12, 6 for each colour
@@dense_lex8994 thank you
Or when you make the loop 3 per colour
This is my first time to watch this type of craft. I do not know how to do a forward or backward knot. Being from the south, she talks a little fast for me. I do like the pattern.
Can someone help me with the measurements?
I actually cannot believe I left that part out, I always include it!! It’s roughly 2m (~80in) per string. Once you fold it it becomes 1m (~40in)
@@MashaKnots how many strings did u use
Thank you so much!! And don’t worry abt it!!
@@ldk_zoey3 strings of each color and when you fold it you should have 12 strings in total
@@CoffeeMarsif you folded three strings each that would be nine strings. everyone is saying something different
For anybody who is wondering, you start with 3 colored strings and 2 white ones, eac around 90 cm

A tutorial but u don’t start it by saying how many strings we need
Yeah my bad, I forgot to edit that part in by accident. 6 strings, 3 of each colour. Roughly 2m in length (~80in)

i deleted my original comment bc it was mean but i didn't mean it i was just really into the video and i was super mad at the time 😭🙏
maybe this isn't the bracelet to start with as a beginner, marsha didn't do anything wrong you may just want to get your skill level up a little bit.
