    I just recently discovered your channel. When I watch gymnastics on RUclips I often wondered what was going on in the athlete's minds while performing their routines, so it's nice to have some insight into that.
    I remember first seeing you on the international stage at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, and of course 1996 in Atlanta. You and your teammate Kerri Strug were my favorites of the Magnificent Seven.
    I now live in Oklahoma City and have seen your exhibit at the Jim Thorpe Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.
    Well done on a fantastic gymnastics career.

    The best american gymnast, queen of beam. You was sooo much better than currently gymnasts. Like all girls from 70s till late 90s you were elegant, had amazing body shape and didnt look like "circus tumblers" we can see today. Best regards from bulgaria

      Ah yes body shaming at its finest. There was no need to for your miserable comments on the current girls. You could have just celebrated Shannon and that’s it.

      @@jacobmiller2663
      You might consider re-reading the comment. There is nothing shameful at all in the comment. There is no doubt but what gymnastics was far more elegant, precise, and graceful, and in many cases more difficult in past years than we see now from most gymnasts. Now, it's all just tumbling, which is what the previous commenter stated.

    • @whoisjanedoe
      @whoisjanedoe 3 месяца назад

      @@Vermontist1 the original comment says she had an amazing body shape unlike the tumblers of today. so they literally did shame them.
