I gotta say when I first heard Mayer would play with the Dead I was sure the DJ made a mistake. But damn he is on it, all over it & had won a 42 yrs Deadhead over. 😂

Gotta hand it to John. He ran with the baton, and now he's got it going on! He carries the torch, pass him the bowl, because he's got the locomotive under control! Hell, toss him the keys to the bus and don't raise no fuss, because now Johnny 's one of us! Trey who? Thanks Voodoo! AOXNOLAXOA

yeah we love the Grateful Dead for many years and we still do Grateful Dead show would change her outlook on life I am thankful for the many shows have been to the last show I saw was at Levi Stadium when I when I die at 90 or 100 years old I want to be sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair and smoking funny cigarettes if you know what I mean and listening to the sounds of the Grateful Dead

Mayer's learning/progressing Jerry's part, but i really wish they could get Kimock back on the road with'em..great vid, thank you

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. Out of all the guys they've had playing lead guitar for them since the late 90's, I still feel he was the best.

that Kimock is unreal,,i first saw him his band Zero in the early/mid 90's at a small bar outside Philly,,i'd never heard of him or the band, but whoa, my mind was shattered after seeing him shred..just beyond words what that guy does with his guitar.. with Mayer on stage, i feel like i'm watching the Grammy's :) lol..

THE REASON YOU DO NOT SEE PEOPLE LIKE TREY OR KIMOCK OR HAYNES IS THEY DO NOT WANT TO RUIN THEIR LIVES. YOU HAVE THREE GUYS FROM A BAND THAT IS OVER 50 YEARS OLD WITH ALL THE REAL MUSICIANS GONE. THIS IS GARBAGE. AND I'M SORRY TO HAVE TO SAY THAT AFTER MY 35 YEARS OF GOING TO SHOWS, I GO TO DSO AND I MAY NOT GO THERE ANYMORE, TO MANY FREAKS AT SOME SHOWS. BIG TIME FREAKS, LOOK LIKE THEY JUST CAME OUT OF THE OZARKS AND SMELL WORSE. face it after Jerry died so did the band...grow up. Wake up! smell the money, hell ya can't even get a good dose anymore.

you still go to DSO shows? talk about someone needing to grow up... lmao.,.you do realize that trey, kimock, and haynes all played with the remaining members after jerry died in variations of the band..( ie, further, the other ones and dead and co.)......
