My response has always been “I can’t stand stupid questions”. Still get the job because… it’s a stupid question

@@NurseInTheMaking thank you! My interview is tomorrow. I had a question, I got let go from the job before the one I'm currently working in, would the interviewer ask why I got let go? If so, how would I answer? It involved another LVN and I got rolled into it because he wanted to help me, but in actuality he caused an investigation to happen because he was not providing prevention from cross contamination, a CNA who witnessed what happened reported him, our supervisor gathered whoever was involved and questioned all of us, we all had different answers on what happened and the supervisor decided to let us all go. I didn't do anything wrong, but it was the negligence of the other LVN that caused all this. What should I say?

@@Linkfan007 Hi there! That’s a great question. If they do ask about it, I think regardless, honesty is the best policy (find a way to explain this situation professionally), and then build upon that and speak about how much you’ve grown and learned since that experience (turn it into a positive!) And definitely choose appropriate wording. If it was personality, it wasn’t a good fit. Choosing professional and concise wording can also help you prepare if they ask for more information :) I wish you all the best with your interview and nursing journey. You got this!

@@NurseInTheMaking ok, thank you! Would you be able to provide an example of the "word choices"? Should I use the word "there was an investigation? Or there was a situation that involved a few employees?"
