This channel was created for a fun project between Jonathan Joly (the Dad) and Edie (the Daughter) as a place to make silly and fun videos together, sometimes Edie's sisters Emilia and Alessia and little brother Andrea also appear but most of the time it is just Edie as she is the one who wants to make the videos!
Congrats on your earrings. You can pull up sides to still wear your hair down and do half up half down hair to show off your ears. Also can do side braids/plaits and pull them back loosely or even under your main hair to show ears. It’s a really big change when you have earrings and want to show them off but have long hair. Your hair back doesn’t make you look bad or pale. You look great and lovely. Your skin looks healthy and glowy and your face shines more. You have a beautiful face shape. Also can do two space buns with sides of your hair or just get some flat Bobby pins/barrettes to hold it back.
You are perfect just as you are and don’t feel shy about showing your gorgeous face, face shape or anything like that.
Love the earrings you picked and glad you managed through the night with the earrings. That’s the big sister mode is that you didn’t have problems but Alessia was more bothered bc she’s younger.
You did excellent and were very brave. It stings when they go in or a few minutes or hours later with some tingling but then it settles down and heals and voila it’s earring shopping time for you! Sorry your mom didn’t notice but I know she was excited for you when she found out. I think she was just tired from a busy day out. I was screaming excited for you the other day when you did the short about what do you notice that’s different!! Your dad is a really good supporter and helped you through that really well! Give him a thanks and a huge hug. Now we need an earrings shopping wishes mini video. You are like me. I hate needles and anything like that. I have to go get my tonsils out this Thursday. Should I make the nurse count down before she inserts my IV? :) take care of your ear holes and make sure hair doesn’t get tangled into them or they will get infected. Always make sure you pull back your hair and clean them, give them a twist and let the air dry the cleaning solution before hair goes over them. They will heal better if you keep hair back off of them and air flow can reach the holes to help dry the puncture and grow the skin where the tunnel will be. Woohoo! So excited for you!!

I would just like to say I’m 13 almost 14 and autistic and I went to get my ears pierced today beforehand I watched this and it really helped me Edie very much describe how it was exactly I am very bad with pain and I can honestly say a Papercut is definitely worse I got some blue studs which is my favourite colour so I just like to say a special thanks to Edie for helping me through
How it felt from my perspective
For those of you wondering what it feels like from my perspective me who hates Pain because there was no nerves in the ear there is no Paine it’s a bit of a shock when it happens and then afterwards kind of just feels really hot and a little bit stinky and that’s it with me I’ve got some special drops i see edie wasn’t so lucky what
After care
From what the lovely lady told me is apply drops to the front and back of the ear with the special cleanse water move The ear so it can get behind the earring and don’t touch the earring though after two weeks you can start turning it the whole way round to make sure there’s no scabbing take them out after six weeks and then they are free to be interchangeable

It doesn't really hurt it's like one little pinch I've gotten my ears pierced I've got a double piercings but it's also better to get it done at younger age cuz I got my ears pierced at like 5

1. Clean them 3 time everyday it really help morning afternoon and night
2. Braid your hair or half up half down and show them off and something that annoys me are when your hair gets stuck in the back and then you have to jerk the hair out

This is for Edie, so basically it's hurt for a second then the pain goes down slowly then for three weeks you have to clean them (ur ears) in the once in the morning and once at night, then this part is for Jonathan, you are such a good dad and I wish you and your family the best! ❤❤

Just for future piercings, needle are a lot safer then piercing guns. I'd suggest to not twist the earrings (it'll help heal it faster.) And have a professional piercer on hand incase issues arise. And to use saline solution.

Well I was planning on getting mine done with a gun but the place I went to didn't do them but now that I have mine done I'm glad I got it done with a needle but honestly it doesn't hurt its a sharp pinch when the needle goes in but as soon as the earrings in its fine hope this helps

Btw people say needles are the best because the go through smoother and cause less truma
