This channel was created for a fun project between Jonathan Joly (the Dad) and Edie (the Daughter) as a place to make silly and fun videos together, sometimes Edie's sisters Emilia and Alessia and little brother Andrea also appear but most of the time it is just Edie as she is the one who wants to make the videos!

I’m so happy to see Emilia embracing herself. She’s so bright, kind, funny and emphatic. 💖 Please always stay like that, Emilia. Don’t let people take you down for the way you are. You are amazing! 🫶🏼 I see so much of myself in her and I wish someone had noticed my neurodivergence at her age. I only got diagnosed with ADHD this year at the age of 30 and everything finally makes so much sense. I love to see that girls these days don’t have to go through the same struggles and constant self doubt, because no one understands ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions in girls. I always tried to fit in and suppress my quirky personality trades, which was the stupidest way to get through my teens and early adulthood. Stay as bright and bubbly as you are, Emilia 💖

Advice for starting year 7:
1. Be yourself.
2. Be kind & inclusive of others.
3. Share your passions, interests, and sense of humour.
4. Be interested in other people.
5. Enjoy yourself! Relax! It's just year 7. The more you enjoy yourself, the more joy you'll spread.
6. Don't stand by and let your friends bully somebody else. Standing by and watching is just as bad as being the bully. Sometimes, your friends might just need a quiet, gentle reminder to be nicer to others. And that's ok, because these lessons are all a part of growing up. None of us are perfect.

Honestly, you should invest in a vocal coach for Emilia! She has such great qualities in her voice. Maybe even a video idea, training with a vocal coach for the day. Would be great to see the progress.

im going into 8th grade (year 8) my advice, be yourself, find some friends, be prepared for fake friends/ghosting/losing friends, it will be hard (if it doesnt happen your the ✨chosen one✨). definetly there will be lots of drama, i think everyone regrets 7th grade lol but its ok its only like 6 months (idk and im too lazy to look it up). youll probrably have a massive glow up, during 7th grade or before 8th grade.. so yeah, good luck and have fun ❤ (also my name irl starts with a too lol)

Good job picking all the necessities for both the stationary bits and then some jeans and earrings. Nice of Emilia to bring Edie a few treats as well. And I’ve always thought Emilia was gifted in some way and her singing and creative brain is that. She’s smart and somehow was told she’s not and she def can sing.
I think this school ks going to be really good for all of the kids attending. Seems to fit the family and all of the kids’ individual needs well. I hope Emilia will be brave enough to share her singing someday but it’s her own gift to share when she feels like it.
Happy shopping for all four kids back to school needs. Sounds like a big job for two tweens and two littles.

I have some advice for you emelia, first of all be careful were you sit because the teachers usually say you can sit there for the rest of the term. I recommend not sitting at the front because the teacher is always watching but the back is to hectic so sit to the middle/back. Also your pencil case says your personality!! Choose wisely! The middle tolites are always the cleanest (idk why!) also I love your videos and I hope you have a great school year! X

As someone going into the 8th the seventh is gonna be ur hardest year yet ur gonna struggle with people trying to find who they are and there gonna hurt u while trying and ur gonna try to find who u are everyone is in the awkward stage of a kid and a teen and everyone wants to act older but also younger it’s gonna be hard but if u find ur group of friends or just one or two stick with them and all I can say is just be as nice as possible cause any rude hi g u do they hold grudges focus on ur study’s not others or popularity and don’t listen to what kids and school will say they like to bring others down to make themselves feel good they will talk abt u but u have to find a good friend/s who will stick with u but don’t make that all u wanna do make sure u stay focused on school work
American here! I went to Catholic school for the first 6 years of schooling. When I went to middle school (Jr. High here in the US), there was no longer a uniform to wear and I, like Emilia, missed the uniform! It felt like a lot of pressure to always find a new & cute outfit to wear. But after a bit, I realized how cool it was to get to show my individual style. I'm sure in no time at all, that will be the same for Emilia! I can't believe how grown up she is. 🥰

I’m going into year 8 and one tip (for year 7) is don’t make friends with EVERYONE just have a couple of close friends but also get to know your form and the people in ur classes/sets but in my Skl we only have sets in maths for year 7 but good luck hope year 7 goes well for u Emilia 💗

Cool! It's safer and more sanitary at a piercing studio with a needle especially for cartilage piercings. ( can cause cartilage to collapse!) Just letting you know incase you dont know! Just do research at the piercing studio you find!

Emilia this is a message for you. You CAN sing. You have a lovely voice. I would encourage singing lessons, because the voice IS there, you just need to learn some technique, control and confidence. Singing lessons really helped me. Don't give up!

By the way, most schools require you to have a scientific calculator so you may want to check the list again just to be sure Emilia has the equipment on the list (a regular calculator could be ok, but I suggest double checking if she doesn’t need a scientific calculator for year 7) Have a great time in secondary school! ❤️
