    I love this episode (which I edited) so much. Every sequence ROCKS, because every PERSON in their sequence rocks. I just want to mention that Ann Savoy, who represents The Magnolia Sisters in the final sequence, has many albums of her own - and "Adieu, False Heart" is a collaboration with Linda Ronstadt - her last recording. Go find it. ENJOY OUR WORK!

    Lafayette and Acadiana is the Louisiana I love! World class cuisine, the friendliest people, a festival just about every weekend, and live music and dancing is a way of life. When you go again make it in April for Festival International de Louisiane or in October for Festivals Acadiens Et Creoles in October. I hope you had a wonderful dinner at Charley G's and ice cream at the world's last remaining Borden's Ice Cream Shoppe! This boy might still be there had a woman from Santa Fe not caught his eye.

    "Cajun music, is that grandma's jewelry that you keep polishing, and polishing; it just gets better, and better" Very insightful statement. We honor those that came before us, by sharing the 'jewelry' that they gave us. Also, I like how you make heart-felt connections with the locals, when you visit a location. Thank you for this.

    This video brought a tear to my eye. With a mix of pride.
    My dear loving Grandmother Lorina was born in Louisiana who since have passed away some years ago. This great presentation of the people, the culture, the overall general life of Louisiana is spot-on.
    Dear Samantha Brown thank you for this reflection of family, home, and of its unending true love.

    How different the lives of folk in Lafayette, Louisiana, from my home in Pitkin County, Colorado. I first heard a zydeco band at a summer concert at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and, I was in love. On the long, long winter nights, snow deep, I think of a balmy Louisiana and the food. The music. Heck, even the gators. (But mostly the food.)

    Nice to get outside your regular "comfort zone" isn't it? I've been to Louisiana a few times and it is a fun place with awesome people. Just make sure you don't bring those "Northern ideas" down with you. Quickest way to get run out of town is wearing the wrong hat for your sports team. I'm very happy that some people from Louisiana have moved my way in Texas and opened up shop. Because that means I don't have to drive 3-10 hours to go enjoy some really awesome cajun/creole food or some of the awesome Jazz/Cajun/Creole/Zydeco music.

I would love to experience their very special way for life and look forward to planning a visit. During what month did you visit? Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for a segment that highlights the very best of the human spirit. One that had such a positive impact on my heart and soul..

    John 3:16 Context
    13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

    if earth rotates on it's axis west to east then how come waves always flow from the oceans towards the lands regardless of the oceans being to the east west north or south of the lands instead the waves should flow in the opposite direction of the earth's rotation ?

    • @RealSamanthaBrown
      @RealSamanthaBrown  2 месяца назад

      The waves are going in all directions… the ones you see hit land are the ones heading toward land. Deeeeep thoughts…
