Wow! Finally a solution! My Samsung S8 vibrated every 30 seconds for no apparent reason. I heard it all night and had to muffle the sound or shut my phone off. I thought it was a malfunction. Problem solved. Thank you!!!

Another possible solution: 1. go to settings 2. select apps 3. select your browser (chrome) 4. select notifications 5. select the i to the right side of chrome or your browser name 6. Disable vibrate and delete allowed apps
