@@hgru5359 was that the same day the majority of demons ran 9.90s in negative 2200da, an afternoon tailwind, 30 degree temps, and specialized track prep by another company? Not sure why you were looking for me... seems kinda strange. Check the demon videos, i was one of the first to acknowledge the 10.23 record finally being broke. Took some outrageous conditions but hey, a 9 is a 9. Still counts!

Im surprised by how few people understand the difference between "quick" and "fast." The lambo is quicker, not faster.
Imagine if a car can go 300 miles per hour, but takes 20 seconds to get to 60. That car would be very "fast" but not quick at all. On the contrary, if a car can accelerate 0-60 in 2 seconds, thats extremely quick; but if it can ONLY accelerate to 60 MPH, it's not fast.
The Hellcat is one of the fastest sports cars, but not the quickest. Of course the lambo will win in on a short, 1/4 mile race track, but the Hellcat would probably win a longer race, like a mile. That extra weight slows down the initial acceleration, but once it gets going that extra 250 HP is going to come out on top.
What happen to the 720 vs P1 video did i miss or you just did not put it out yet?
That's a good win for the Hellcat. Crazy that 850 wheel horsepower only beats a Stock Huracan by only three tenths of a second though.

The 1000hp hellcat is faster. The lambo red lighted and that set a precedence for the other two races where the hellcat did it but the times and trap speeds tell the story.

These races prove basically if a SLOWER car has 4-wheel drive and the driver driving it has a much better reaction time you can beat a FASTER car
The problem with American cars is always inefficiency at the line. The Hellcat, Demon, or even a Vette has traction issues. The hellcat is obviously faster with these mods, but the power to grip ratio is terrible.
Don't lump in the challengers and chargers with typical American cars, they are heavy boats that have no use for their steering wheels. Even mustangs and camaros these days demolish practically everything on the race track, not to mention the corvettes, vipers, and Ford gt's

Inefficient until a proper wheel, tire and suspension is used to put the power down. Of course not red lighting helps to. Grudge racers put down twice that much power no issues just from having a good set up combo.

OMG the huracan, that is like the definition of consistency. All 4 runs were within 0.01 seconds!! I don't think I've ever seen that. Great kills!! Amazing to me how a 1k hp hellcat can only run mid 10s. Explains why the less powerful demons constantly lose.

StrykerV8 still quicker than this charger. Still quicker than 99.99% of the 720s and still not the all time quickest time of the day which was 9.7 which is quicker than the .1% of the 720s’.

I guess the logical thing to do would be to race the 2 cars on the same day at the same track since not all cars get the "demon pass" of 2 days nonstop runs half a mile below sea level in the dead of winter with a company hired to prep the track. Every time you race a guy in a Dodge, it's always some pleb who couldn't launch consistently to save his life. The Hellcat was clearly a shitload faster as seen in the 2nd roll race.

Yeah, the overweight Dodge only needed aftermarket mods to bump it up to 850 hp to the wheels so it can keep up with/barely beat a bone stock Huracan with 602hp at the crank. Lol. Good job Dodge & the shop who tuned it & installed the mods. Oh & at the end of the day you still have a POS cheap looking modified Dodge whose value will continue to drop & it's only fast in a straight line. Yay! Something to be really proud of. USA, USA, USA! Lol

I've seen less red lights in traffic...
The fact that the charger best time was a 10.2 shows how terrible tell driver was I'm sure drag radials would have helped too. A Dodge demon can run 9.65 with Leah pritchett and 9.75 with a normal driver. The demon makes 840 horsepower, this 1,000 horsepower charger would probably run 9.2 with Leah pritchett on stock tires and 8.7 with drag radials. With a normal driver, probably 9.5 with stock tires and 9.1 with radials.

Well yeah you get what you pay for and When you mention Modz you have to be a little more specific. My cat is extremely modified and it took about a year just to figure out the best tire wheel combination along with what type of gearing. But everybody's different. Everybody's car is different. Everybody drives differently as in experienced and not experienced and how many times you've actually ran that car down the track. Experience and proper setup means just about everything when you're trying to get the best time from point A to B in a straight line.

No. Trust me. Now when you say tire change that could mean a bunch of things. But just with drag radials you could snap the rear axle on the first run. But with drag radials and hooking up you're going to get Low 11s and that's with a good driver

Maybe it can? Right driver? Better weather conditions? Better track for hookup? Better tires for hookup? Take some weight off the car? I saw a typical two-wheel drive torque monster slippy-slide all over the track. There is a good chance it can hit 9's in the right conditions. Science can really be your friend if you let it in.

Not sure whether you might have seen it or even be interested in this since you are straight line drag guy. But, anyway, apparently, the new Huracan Evo is really tricked out. Apart from having the same power as the Performante and having rear-wheel steering, it has a thing called Lamborghini Dynamic Vehicle Integration (LDVI) which controls everything from the rear-wheel steering to torque vectoring, dynamic steering, the dampers, etc which ups the car's performance massively. Get this, on the Nardo test track in Italy, the Evo was 3.7 sec faster than the old car (LP610-4) around a 5.7 km track.
