Fried okra and squash is so Texas. But frying it altogether is awesome. Saves so much time. U are a jewel. Texas girls are smart when it comes to cooking a great meal.
My grandma used to get fresh okra and diced potatoes and fry like this in cornmeal. We ate for breakfast most of the time. We all love it. I make for my grandson now.
I love fried okra! I've never had a medley like this and it looks delicious. And by the way, thank you for prayers. We really need them right now for health reasons regarding our daughter. We know that God is good all the time, but He tells us to bear one another's burdens. I love ya Ms. Talli Faye! God bless you and keep you.

Oh man, I know I'd love this. Mom used to make some really great fried squash and fried okra. Like you, she did it with cornmeal, and I love this so much more that when they do it in batter. Cornmeal enhances the taste, and the batter stuff seems to overwhelm it so that you really only taste the batter. Thanks for the memories.

What you’re referring to as corn meal. Appears more fine than the corn meal I’ve come across. I’m thinking what you have is either Masa Harina or a very fine Corn Meal. If you have the coarser meal best to try and process it in a Blender for 45-60 Seconds.
I was going thru your play list and found your Chex and pistachio recipe that you deleted….did that recipe have milk in it. We found this popcorn recipe that sounded so good so I tried it. It was good but the milk that was in the recipe w the butter and brown sugar and cinnamon made popcorn w no crunch, so made it again without milk and oh my ….was it good….and crispy, plus you also added some cinnamon crunch cereal also. Then I stored it in a tin can like you get at xmas w popcorn in it. Chex and pistachio sounded really good. Get back w😢 me on that recipe.
Oh we’ve had the same problem this year!.. Buzz just can’t keep up with the weeds because of all the rain!… It’s kinda ugly but still productive lol 😂… We just have to roll in with it!

Talli Faye I'm going to have to stop watching your vids because you are going to be the death of me. Being a Flexitarian I try not to eat certain food that are prepared a certain way and deep fried foods is one of them but this recipe doesn't seem like it would be the same in an air fryer.

I cut them lengthwise… most of the time just in half!… That way you get a good bite of it 😊
