- “Chalo Tuk Mir Ko Sunne” by Vipin Garg has been described as the most ambitious work in Hindi on Khuda e Sukhan, Mir Taqi Mir (1723-1810) as the poetry lovers celebrate the 300th birth anniversary of the great Urdu poet.
Vipin Garg is in conversation with Mehr e Alam in this video, filmed at the historic Sharif Manzil, Ballimaran, Delhi, in March, 2024.
Published by Rajkamal Prakashan, Vipin Garg’s book offers readers an opportunity to appreciate Mir’s 8,500 ash’ar in Hindi with an exhaustive glossary, explaining the meanings of about 2,500 idioms and proverbs from Mir’s time.
Vipin Garg, while growing up in the northern city of Meerut, fell in love with Mir’s poetry, and at that time he didn’t even know how to read and write the Urdu script. Garg did learn Urdu, later, and now he writes Urdu poetry as well. He has been exploring the work of Mir, consisting of more than 30,000 couplets.

The interviewer is too irritant interjecting at every moment,not letting the interview to complete his answers and thoughts.Suddenly changing questions without any priority,lacking coherency and logical interconnectedness in it.
Nowadays anyone can conduct interviews thanks to newer forms of media but they atleast should aware themselves of some basic knowledge and methods about how to condect it professionally. Defective and unprofessional interview style and behavior leads to lower standards of good content which is what happened with the above session.
