I’m an American teacher who happens to speak Brazilian Portuguese. I’m also an English language development, teacher or ESL teacher. I’m nearing retirement and I’m thinking of my possibilities in Portugal. I really appreciate what you’ve done here. Your videos are very engaging. I’m trying to find out if I can work part time as an educator. I assume I could be hired by expat families as a tutor of some sort. I’m starting my planning now and I wish to take a trip to Portugal. I have been to Europe and South America and southeast Asia. I have lived in Malaysia and Brazil. Access to Healthcare is an important piece to this puzzle, I look forward to hiring you in the future!

Just to confirm, does that mean that enrollment in some type of schooling is compulsory starting at the age of three in Portugal?
