One of my favorite prog rock hits from the 70's by a vastly underrated supergroup, UK! So happy I found this on You Tube, thanks so much for posting it!
30 years later, it's GREAT to see a good quality version of this song available somewhere! Thank you! Can't wait to see them in their reuinion concert this May in Portland, OR!
Another gem you have captured for all us prog rock fans. You really know how to lift the spirits of someone (me) that has all but given up on this music genre. Thanks ever so much, Robbot!
This song takes me back to my college radio days! One killer track! You got John Wetton, Eddie Jobson, and post-Zappa/pre-Missing Persons Terry Bozzio! Anybody remember that Bill Bruford (of King Crimson) and Alan Holdsworth were also part of U.K.?
1st time hearing this song, in fact, the 1st UK song in my life. Sounded great but it could have been Asia if I closed my eyes, which is not a bad thing. John is looking mighty hot in those black leather pants. Very few guys can pull this look off and make the ladies swoon. WOW!
Eddie Jobson and Rick Wakeman were in a competion at that time, right? who has got the largest keyboard towers on a stage and although could be seen by the audience in the most possible sexiest way? Jobson won.
Good God, that takes me back, I have not heard this in decades, but the sound is classic 1980. They got no air play at all. You had to track them down and bands like Steve Hackett, Tangerine Dream and Camel at the local campus record store. The ones that were in the back alley or down stairs, they smelled bad and was little scary to go into.
RIP John Wetton. Thanks for all the great music.
