  • In this comprehensive guide we walk in your shoes as if you have just arrived at the airport and show you how to use three of the main transportation options.
The vlog covers Ride Share (Uber, Lyft),Mears Connect and Rental cars.
We will guide you through the airport from arrivals showing you how to use each of these transportation options.
Next we show you where to pick up your Visitor Toll Pass if you plan to pick up a rental car.
Ride with us as we drive both the North and South routes to the airport, showing you the best roads to take depending if you are staying in the Universal, Disney or International drive areas.
We will explain you how to use the E-Pass/ Sun pass toll system and how it works on the road.
The vlog concludes by driving back to the airport to show you where and how to return your Rental car. We hope you find the information useful

If you pre-book with Alamo you go straight to the line of cars and simply choose the one you want in your category. The keys are always in the cars, so if you see one you like you simply take the keys and continue looking. If you find one you like more you keep the key and simply return the keys to the one you looked at first. Simples. The main thing you want is one with a built-in Satnav, which since Covid are few and far between (where the Satnav has been activated).Otherwise you go back to paying for a Satnav like it was back in the day. Alternatively you can use your phone as a Satnav if you can afford the Data charges.

We do pre registration online so just get what car we want, show voucher credit card and driving licences easy. Years ago we used to have to put 50c to 75c in a bucket sometime we made it sometimes we didn’t. Thankfully we now have toll passes so we can just drive. Alamo have keys in the car you just go to what size you want, make sure you look around the car before you leave any dent scratches report it and take pictures.

Brilliant vlog, the best information I have seen so far. If you get the visitor toll pass do you just drive through the tolls that have sunpass signs above them or are they for a different toll pass scheme. Also I've read that there can be a lot of hidden extras when hiring a car - are there any pitfalls to watch out for. Thanks

    • @ThemeParkBazza

It's worth pointing out that you can use the E-PASS lanes even if you don't have a pass as they give you 24 hours to buy a pass and activate it, then the tolls will be added retrospectively. So if you do end up in the SunPass lane it's not the end of the world.

Car allocated at the desk, no more choosing the one you want, unless you pay for the privilege. Not looking forwards to that tbh.
