Fascinating insight. I can see the parallels in justifying brutal takeover of northern Australia Aboriginal lands for catlle during the same period 1880-1910. After the The Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection, (or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life) by Charles Darwin 1859. The takeover was evil. Progress!
    Ironically, I live in Darwin

i will add H of D to my list. Devotion to efficiency which is essentially synonymous with technology. This is a big blind spot in the modern CRT woke Queer theory world. Observe how quick the DEI crowd is to adopt the "new thing". Who was pushing the covid mrna jabs harder than anyone? Answer... it was not the Amish.

Yes, there is a connection with technology and efficiency that becomes even more insidious Bob dystopian fiction like 1984.

    A demonstrable lie?
Pope Francis previously made a sweeping apology for the church's role in colonialism. On a 2015 visit to Bolivia, he asked “forgiveness, not only for the offenses of the church herself, but also for the crimes committed against the native peoples during the so-called conquest of America.”

What precisely is he apologizing for?
