Wowsers guys some tricky stuff in the ice . Loving life , this is habeller country? . Gods country. Savage views and i get to enjoy it . Thanks so much for sharing with me and the mrs . The dogs are a bit thick , but they would have enjoyed that one , archie especially. Some day youll foster a rescue dog over Christmas. Glad you all made it safe . That bum slide was hilarious. Balls of steel , clever , reminds me of several Antarctic slides . Best to you guys
Bravo Sue for pushing on while feeling ill 🤢 not easy carrying a big bag across that kind of terrain 🏔️🏔️🏔️ But stunning views to treat us all too 👍🤠 As Dave said we would call them bothy’s but they are way more than any Bothy I’ve seen brilliant refugees 👍 Glad you made it to the end of this leg Very best wishes Simon 🤠👍🏔️
@@SetForAdventures Thanks Simon! It was so beautiful I was still enjoying it despite feeling very weak. The huts are superb aren’t they, a great idea but I wonder if they would survive well in this country? 🤔
A wonderful gentle start Sue but then again it was steep. Good to see Graham waiting up top there - it just didn't seem right without the three of you. Mind you we almost lost you eh? After some fantastic bum slides an unexpected illness. I was perplexed as you were no doubt. A virus! All is explained. Hey, I went to the relative websites and saved the cabin details. I do that because I'm planning for, yeah, you know, adventure! Thanks. I reckon you ought to have stayed in the last - avoiding the storm. Well, another good episode. All the best for the week ahead. Mark
YES!! Thanks Mark, the sulking was tongue-in-cheek but I did fancy a night in the second one. I fell asleep in there for quite a while and nobody came by to disturb my slumbers. Those unmanned huts are great eh? I await your advenures, in the meantime look forward to the book publication.
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth A pleasure Sue. The second did look alright it must be said a playful sulk is permitted as is a nap - ah I love them shut eyes. Yes, the huts are useful, as well as inviting - one day I will be hiking past. Thanks - book on the way.
Hi guys, wow , what an eventful few days that was, but what stunning scenery to get you through it 😀⛰ I think it’s safe to say Sue that you looked rather ‘miffed’ at Dave’s decision not to let you stay at the Bothy. 🤣
@@lifesahobby Hi Owen! Good to hear from you 😁 Bumslides are always fun… the one on the second day was a bit nervy though. The Nemo! Appreciate the comment it’s the Nemo Dagger, I’m falling for it now after having retired my old North Face Tadpole. Great for summer use, cavernous inside 👍
@FIVE-FOOTLyth looks great . I had an old specialised euro hike for 14 years , similar style . Like a VW beetle interior in size . But low enough to retain warmth and it looks high enough that your head isn't rubbing off the ceiling . . . I need one of those for my Mrs and I . .. .
@lifesahobby Nemo are top notch on after sales service too. We had a slight seam split from one of the guy points. The newer model has fixed the minor weakness, but Nemo sent us a brand new tent…. Excellent!! 👏
Spectacular scenery but a shame you weren't fit to enjoy it all Sue. Maybe Dave will be a little more sympathetic towards you after his recent mishap? I don't think I would have passed by that first bothy, looked really cozy!
I had a good sleep in the bothy before we headed out for camp Ian 😁 Dave is doing well, still painful but rapidly improving. Might be a while before he can raise his arm above his head though 😢

Outstanding scenery my friend, your storytelling as always is brilliant!
@@ervinslens Thank you very much 🤗 It was an eventful couple of days. Being amongst such a landscape is a wonderful healer ❤️

Your not one to complain, Sue. So you must have been feeling bad. Glad you recovered. Spectacular scenery though 👍 even with a virus 🤢
@@catchyoulater.5836 Hey Mick 🤗 The scenery was stunning, a fabulous section of the WHR through Grand Desert. Kept me smiling 🙂🤨

Hi Dave! Was my face an open book? 🤣 It was so quiet in there... though I have to admit - I LOVE a good storm!!

Love the nemo tent , its a beauty
